Glucose Test Cost?

Hi Ladies,
Can anyone tell me how much the Glucose Test costs? I have to go and have it done in the next few weeks and I am trying to budget. Thanks

I have never had to pay for it, both my ob and gp have ordered them

From memory mine was about $130 but the medicare rebate was almost all bar about $10.

mine have always been bulk billed.

Hi Booties - when I went, I had mine done through S & N and they got me to pay $40 on the spot and they billed the rest as bulk. I also got a card in the mail after that and a letter saying that from now on I would be bulk billed for all S & N tests for the year. Maybe ask about that?

Both my tests were bulk billed and i didnt pay a cent. I had to have 2 as i failed the first one. I too would check with your care provider and ask them to refer you somewhere that bulk bills the full amount.
