I had them make up a special program for me - they are pretty aware of what you can and can't do while pregnant so many of the exercises will be modified.

As long as you let them know then they can work out a program suitable for you.

i joined a gym before i knew i was pregnant and they set out an exercise plan for me,
but now that i am pregnant they are quite happy to change my program to suit my needs, they just told me not to over do myself!!!!!!!!

thanks ladies that makes me feel a bit better. I don't want to stop as although not huge now I do have a build that could easily blow out and I really don't wanna be overweight with a newborn so want to keep going.

You know people just love to make you nervous and paranoid and tell you stories, I needed some good ones to balance it all out.

I exercised all thru my preg with no problems - in fact it made me feel better and I am sure it contributed to my fast and lovely labour.
i think the main thing is to do with what you were already doing - your level of fitness. it is not really advisable to step up your exercise when preg. your trainer should be able to help.
as you get bigger it fdoes get harder - in the later stages i found pilates, yoga, swimming all good - for mind and body!
    Enjoy your preg!!!

I played indoor netball in my first two pregnancies up until 13 weeks and 9 weeks respectively. I agree with pregpan()....it does help with things (labour, extra weight etc) in later stages of pregnancy....

    Enjoy this special time...
