As you can see from my ticker, I am 12.5 weeks along. I have had nausea and the odd bout of vomiting since week 5 but in the past 2 weeks, this has become progressively worse and I am now vomiting after most of my meals. I'm constantly nauseous and just feel rotten a lot of the time.
Did this happen to anyone else? Did your "morning" sickness get worse?
If I hear one more time that it will fade, I'm going to hit someone, because it just isn't!!
I'm totally not complaining though but just want to hear what anyone else has experienced.
Yes, this happened to me. I think my MS peaked around about 12-13 weeks or so, and I was still sick up to 6.5 months- but don't worry, that's pretty unusual. For most people, it will fade by 15-20 weeks, even though it feels like it won't.
As you probably know, it all about your HGC levels- they are increasings heaps and it can make you awfully sick. Its so horrible, isn't it? The only thing that consoled me was the whole "m/s = healthy pregnancy" thing.
Best of luck and I hope it lets up for you very soon!
Yep...me too...spewed till I ended up in hospital on a drip...and it lasted till about 25 weeks. Ended up having to take medication which was fantastic. No such luck for me this time as I'm still breastfeeding
And me! Felt really rotten up to about 19 weeks. The first couple of months was chronic nausea and then next couple chronic vomiting. And none of the m/sickeness 'remedies' worked one bit! But it did go although at the time I would have never believed it!
Yup mine finished at 14 weeks with this pregnancy, 12 weeks with my first. I know the feeling of 'it's never going to end!'. I hope it ends for you soon
This happened to my sister for 6-months, hang in there and make sure you keep eating basic foods / fluid up and consulting with your midwife/OB. Try not to get too tired or stressed also, or to let this play on your mind.
I myself didn't really get full on sick, only felt nausea with my current pregnancy which only has 4 days to go now. Each morning I have eaten two toasts with vegemite and cheese and a mango juice since being pregnant and I swear that it has been great to make me feel better-that was my remedy. I also ensure I have a savoury type snack, plain salada, rye vita etc to munch on and keep up my fluids.
Good luck I hope it doesn't last too long, end result wil be worth it!
