I just got new jeans when mine were uncomfortable. I don't really think you'd be saviong money by leaving buying them till later - if anything you'll just get more use of them if you were to get them sooner?
Only joking. Just be aware that you can't really dawdle for too long, because you will have a few weeks where suddenly NOTHING fits. Often it will get really really uncomfortable just before you get to that point, so once the uncomfiness starts, go shopping!
As long as you're comfortable it's fine.
Probably in about another week or two, the decision will be out of your hands anyway and it will be off to the shops for you
I bought mat jeans early on & they lasted me right through til I gave birth. I did it as soon as my normal jeans felt uncomfy.
You don't have to spend much. I got a great denim pair from Big W for around $30 & a black pair from Kmart for around $40. Super comfy & as long as your top covers the waistband no one would know they are maternity. You will also get wear out of them after the pregnancy too - you just pull the band up higher not under the belly like you do as you get advanced.
...too tight jeans are bad for your lower back - can put it out. I like wearing skinny jeans, but I have back probs and a chiropractor told me this years ago... but mostly I hated the feel of anthing tight against my lower ab.
You should be able to pick up something now that will last you right through. The sizing is based on your pre preg size usually, so its not like you need to wait and see how big you`ll get before you make a purchase.
I hate tight things on my tummy - even more so when I am preggers...
So even though I am only 6 and a bit weeks, my belly feels hard and my normal clothes are starting to feel a bit tight. I guess second time round by body is expanding already!
When you feel uncomfortable is the time to change pants!
