to you. I would seriously consider getting a blood test done for your iron levels. I have mild anemia which can make me feel pretty tired at times.

I've been tested for anemia before i got pregnant. And apparently i haven't got it. Could it be brought on by pregnancy?? If i'm still feeling like this tomorrow, i'm going to go to the doctors.
Is there any pregnancy related illnessess that could explain all the symptoms??

Iron levels can drop dramatically during pregnancy. I had low iron throughout mine & still do 8 months after giving birth, my body just hasn't recovered yet. I've never had low iron prior to pregnancy so is well worth getting a BT.

You think. You've got low anaemia before you're pg - you're going to have it during pg.

You become a vessel for the creation of another human being (which takes A LOT of effort for your body) and your blood is going to the baby - including all of its iron.

I think of myself as a bit of a secondary vessel when pg (not to other people but to nature). I'm an incubator and nature takes the goodness out the incubator before making sure the incubator has electricity.

My DH calls the baby a "parasite" - which I know sounds harsh, but there is an element of reality to it.

Apparently I'm feeling phylo.... phylo..... (darn, I can't spell that word).......like comparing stuff to irrelevant objects - like incubators.

    I'll go now.............

I don't think I start feeling better until about 20-25 weeks either. I LOVE being 7 and 8 months preg the MOSTEST! I hope it lifts for you soon, but do check your iron levels.

Hi sophie I would also get your thyroid function checked when you have your iron levels checked. I hope you feel better soon

    HA!! This is funny.

Sophie, you are geared to forget the bad bits and remember the good bits. It's what keeps us breeding. One day you'll be sitting there thinking, "I wouldn't mind a little bro/sis for Pickles." Then there you are - doing it all again thinking, "Oooooohhhhhh, that's right! I remember this bit!"

My m/s has only just stopped and I've finally got the energy injection. It has taken ages.

I hope it gets better for you.
