    I need your help.

    SooOoOoooOoOoOOOoooo ....

I've become a complete cow, and am losing the plot over the smallest things (yet most irritating)

yes I am pregnant, but it is starting to affect *ME*

This pregnancy I am finding it to be rather stressful and Im a bit anxious, in comparison to DD I am just a downright a$$hole and I KNOW I am being this way.

DP and I have had a few stressful weeks, which hasnt helped!

What can I do? How can I help myself? My mum has suggested meditating, which I think I should do as well, but I just feel so uptight and irritated most times, but then 2 seconds later am laughing!?? LOL Looney I know!

    TIA for all advice

Congrats on your pregnancy MissM but Im sorry that things arent so happy atm I dont really have huge advice but when I was incredibly moody from IVF hormones DH would suggest that I stop, breath, count to 10 and see if I was still angry then. Of course I lost the plot at him for suggesting at the time but on occassion it did help. Take it easy on yourself hun, there are so many hormones pumping through those veins of yours

Thanks Lily dust, after my break out this afternoon, i started wondering if the counting thing would work for me. Might have to try it! The worst thing is I upset myself to the point of tears because i feel bad for telling people off.

Awww sweetie, youre pregnant and that doesnt help with the feelings of guilt, anger, sadness, happiness so big you could burst, pride, excitement, overwhelming feelings and oh the list just keeps going but I see your ticker says your 14 weeks so maybe with the hormones staring to plateau for a while you might feel a bit better

I'll try not to be too hard on myself. But even my boss had a word with me and he's pretty easy going. Might have a chat with him in the morning.

Thanks Lily dust, I feel a little better now.

oh I'm so sorry you feel this way, it's so awful when you feel like your moods are out of your control. Hopefully those pesky hormones will settle soon and you'll start to feel like yourself again. In the meantime, I have some wonderful hypnotracks that my massage guy gave me- pm me and I'll be happy to send you a disk with them on it. They really helped me visualise when I was pregnant and calm myself down before I snapped...well....most of the time

Are you expecting a boy? I guess at 14 weeks you wouldn't know yet, but I found that with DS I was moody when I wasn't with DD and am not moody at all normally. I figured it was the testosterone from carrying a boy and found that a daily dose of DTD really helped. When I started getting snappy, DH was like "we need to use up some of those extra flowing hormones - you, bedroom". LOL.

THAT is funny! Not sure on baby's sex yet, I have a feeling its a boy, but am only basing this on symptoms and cravings.

I just feel so bloody stressed, and i know its not good! Am having tomorrow off for some R&R. Today was a rather emotional day and was basically on the verge of tears all day, but I got over myself.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate your kind words , and laughter Yeddi

Aww sweets! I hated that hormonal feeling where I just snapped at the easiest thing then bawled my eyes out cause I was mean.

DTD is a great idea if you feel up to it! I loved DTD cause it made me happy, lol

keep your chin up and it should plateau soon!

Thanks MrsB - I feel much better today.

I also really appreciate the fact that I have honest people around me to tell me these things and that its started to affect them.

I just have to remember there is no point stressing myself out. Its not worth it!

If it helps i know exactly how you feel! I have been a complete looney the past few weeks (Im 11.5 weeks along)... Really snappy, getting really angry and having awful thoughts about myself and my partner. Its really awful and you dont want to feel this way when its suppose to be a happy and exciting time. I dont know if you live near a beach at all, but i started a few long walks followed by a swim. It seems to work wanders and i feel SOOO much better! Im so much nicer to be around, sleeping and eating better as a result...
I hope you feel better soon, im sure you will...
Hormones are powerful things, dont be to hard on yourself and make sure you are communicating to people about how you feel so they understand...
    Good luckxx

Do you take a pregnancy multi-vitamin?
Sometimes if you are low on vitamins...particularly iron and B12...it can make you irritable, moddy, snappy and steessed out.
It maybe worth getting some and seeing if it helps.
Of course all those busy hormones floating around wouldn't be helping at all either....I do remember it well

Thanks Sav - Have been considering doing aquarobics (beginner level) and having some 'me' time.

Ive also been making an effort to get more sleep, but am struggling as I toss and turn all night. Just cant get comfortable like before.

RB - Am currently on a Pregnancy multi Bit i think its just hormones with exhaustion thrown in ... unfortunately

I found with sleeping, that a pregnancy/body pillow helped SO much with sleeping even before I got a belly! It just meant I could sleep on my side comfortably and feel supported!!! HIGHLY recommend getting one!
I had a long, full body straight one so I could drape myself over it, i know you can get round ones n stuff but I loved mine! Got it from Pillow Talk for like $30!!

Aqua aerobics is a great idea!!! Prenatal yoga is awesome too!! I found it so relaxing and the stretches were gentle and great!
