That is exactly right darling & keep that in mind. A heartbeating away healthily (that rate is healthy) is a fabulous sign that does put you in a great position. Do you remember Meredith? She had a very very similar experience to yours with pain also & now she has her baby daughter in her arms.

Just keep thinking only wonderful things - rest up, drink lots of water & eat healthfully. We are all here cheering for you.

I am not sure, does she have a birth story? But journeys so similar are so supportive and encouraging

I will find her story for you my love. She bled so much and so often that it really did look bleak for a time. She sadly said Goodbye to her daughters twin during the first trimester which was so sad and difficult. However, her little girl hung on tight and is now at home. She was born early but healthy.
I have to attend to a belligerent Immy & I will be back with some links to Meredith.

Beema, Sorry to hear what you are going through. Just wanted to offer you some more hugs and positive thoughts.

I had a bleed at 5 weeks with this pg'cy, had an US and they found a large blood clot which they said i would either bleed out or it would reabsorb into the body. Had another scan 10 days later and it was luckily it was gone and bubs heart had started beating

If it is a Subchorionic Haemorage or Haematoma, you have a higher chance of going full term than losing the baby. Good odds, especially as you have seen the baby's heart beating and the location of the clot too. Sounds promising.

Thankyou so much for those links, I have read them all through, one of the amazing things about BB, there is nearly always someone else who has travelled a similar path, and the positive stories are so reassuring

I also wanted to remind you that you grow strong babies! Just look at Miss N and all that you went through with her. I remember your bleeding episode with her too.....

Thanks hun, yes those two weeks were not fun either, but we got through them, and got a strong little fighter, this one will be a toughie as well
