Nae, ring you boss.
I'm sure she's just resting. But it's so worth finding that out.
HI All,
Warning could be TMI for some
I could be totally freaking out over nothing BUT, this morning when I went to the toilet and wiped I noticed there was a lot of CM and even some slight traces of bright blood. Now for the past few days I haven't been feeling the best and had some pretty aweful cramps but have put it down to just my body getting bigger etc being 21 weeks pregnant, but after my MC last October I am really worried.
I face two problems, the first is I am at work today on my own but I want to text my boss and let her know.
The second problem is I live in the Country therefore no drs except for the hospitals which I am thinking I may ring anyway to see if I can see someone.
I haven't felt my little one move for a few days but know that this could be just be because she is facing the wrong way.
Do I wait until my ob appointment tomorrow, or do I call my boss and kas her to come in on her day off so I can go up and sit and wait at the hospital. I really want to call my boss and get checked out but know I will feel aweful if there is nothing wrong.
So so worried about my little girl.

alan@yourmidwife.com.au
Nae, I'd be getting it checked out if it were me and if I were your boss, I'd be upset if you didn't call me and instead sat there worrying all day.
I'm hoping like crazy that there's nothing wrong and that it's just a little scare.![]()
Oh Nae hope everything is ok! Did your OB give you their number...it is def something you could call them about to check.
ring now! make an appointment!!! if there is something wrong its easier to know earlier coz they might be able to do something before its too late iykwim. 21 weeks..hrrmm maybe i have a low lying placenta? this can cause a little blood. But please ring now and go get it checked out.
Hope all is well Nae, just checking in to see how things are going.

HI everyone,
sorry for the delay in response, I just haven't had access to the internet.
Firstly a HUGE thanks to you all, especially Alan for your very generous offer.
Me,
Well basically I was having contractions and have been admitted into the Warragul hospital. We're playing the waiting game but have bascially remained stable foor the past 4 days.
Because I have been conracting my cervix has opened about 4cm and the membrane is bulging. Bascially I am on bed rest with only getting up to go to the toilet. The MW here have been just so wonderful, and my Ob is I guess surprised by the fact that we're still here and there has been no change at this stage.
We're aiming to get to at least 24 weeks so am keeping my legs crossed. we've also discussed no more gaps and gaffa tape to keep bub in and cooking as long as we can.
Saw the pediatrician (?) and went through a few scenarios with him. Though the odds are stacked heavily against us and bub surviving, where there is a will there is a way.
So thats it in a nutshell. I am glad I made the call as should I had waited til the next morning well .... lets just say bub wouldnt still be with me.
Speaking of bub, she is doing well, lots of nice little kicks, I get to listen to her everyday, and laugh at her when she moves around and makes it difficult for the MW to listen long enough ... she is her mothers daughter.
anyway, hospital food is crap and DH has maccas for me so will go.
Hopefully I will be able to get on a bit more.
Thanks again everyone

Oh lordy - whew. Nae, I've been quietly crapping my pants here SO GLAD you went straight in. Keep those legs crossed babe.
Can you pass a message on for me please?
Dear Princess Hubba Bubba, I know you are in a hurry to meet your mummy and daddy but we need you to stay put in there for a while longer. Practice your tumble turns and grow some lovely fingernails for when you do come out. Kick mumma a few times a day (those ribs can be FUN!) and we will see you in a few months time - Love Lulu xoxoxo
Hang in there NaeNae MWAH!
