Nae, I'm so worried about you. I hope everything is all right and that you've just been told to get bed rest.

    HI everyone,

sorry for the delay in response, I just haven't had access to the internet.

Firstly a HUGE thanks to you all, especially Alan for your very generous offer.

    Me,

Well basically I was having contractions and have been admitted into the Warragul hospital. We're playing the waiting game but have bascially remained stable foor the past 4 days.
Because I have been conracting my cervix has opened about 4cm and the membrane is bulging. Bascially I am on bed rest with only getting up to go to the toilet. The MW here have been just so wonderful, and my Ob is I guess surprised by the fact that we're still here and there has been no change at this stage.
We're aiming to get to at least 24 weeks so am keeping my legs crossed. we've also discussed no more gaps and gaffa tape to keep bub in and cooking as long as we can.
Saw the pediatrician (?) and went through a few scenarios with him. Though the odds are stacked heavily against us and bub surviving, where there is a will there is a way.

So thats it in a nutshell. I am glad I made the call as should I had waited til the next morning well .... lets just say bub wouldnt still be with me.

Speaking of bub, she is doing well, lots of nice little kicks, I get to listen to her everyday, and laugh at her when she moves around and makes it difficult for the MW to listen long enough ... she is her mothers daughter.

anyway, hospital food is crap and DH has maccas for me so will go.

Hopefully I will be able to get on a bit more.

    Thanks again everyone

    Nae x x x x

Oh lordy - whew. Nae, I've been quietly crapping my pants here SO GLAD you went straight in. Keep those legs crossed babe.

Can you pass a message on for me please?

Dear Princess Hubba Bubba, I know you are in a hurry to meet your mummy and daddy but we need you to stay put in there for a while longer. Practice your tumble turns and grow some lovely fingernails for when you do come out. Kick mumma a few times a day (those ribs can be FUN!) and we will see you in a few months time - Love Lulu xoxoxo

    Hang in there NaeNae MWAH!

Nae, how frightening to be in the situation you're in but I am so very glad that you made that phone call and that you're in hospital getting every bit of help that is available! Hope that everything remains stable and that your little girl keeps cooking. She's an impatient missy!

Praying that the odds are in your favour and that all goes well.

    Lots and lots of love,
    Kerry
