Hi,

Just got diagnosed with irritable uterus. i am 38w5d gestation. Just wanted to know others experiences with irritable uteri. I just dont know what to think. I get that they say the tightenings dont cause effacement, so does this mean that all the discomfort/pain is in no way helping to prepare my uterus for my impending delivery? Or are they likely to trigger bh, or proper contractions.

I am not worried about going into labour any day now, as i am close to due date anyway. But am just annoyed and frustrated, at the idea that it is going to be even harder for me to distinguish when i am actually going into labour. I just feel totally useless and out of control.
