    I haven't for that reason.
I was so PO'd about it too as i was craving my homemade potato salad. I ended up finding a honey mustard dressing to put on it seperatly but it's just not the same.

if you ask me what my favourite food is I would tell you home made potato salad. I have not eaten it the whole time I have been pregnant currently 36 weeks however if you go to the following site Food Standards Australia New Zealand: Fact Sheets 2005
then click on listeria commonly asked questions it has very informative information and it says the following about mayo:

    Condiments e.g. mayonnaise and pesto
These products are safe if purchased pre-packaged by the manufacturer and are chilled. They are also safe if cooked

although I havent touched mayo this is because I have been extra careful due to two miscarriages, having said that I am making potato salad for xmas lunch I am due on new years eve so I think I will be fine. Just use it as soon as you open the jar and eat potato salad straight away dont keep the mayo and use it again just buy a smaller jar I would suggest.

I thought mayo like kraft etc was ok, just not whole egg mayo or homemade.

What about coleslaw (like the one you get from KFC)? It contains egg, so I've been avoiding it as well.. But is it ok to eat?
