No, they told me there was nothing to be done except to monitor the situation. I can't remember my numbers, but as mine were still in the normal range, the baby was not at risk unless the levels deteriorated further. Hopefully you are in the same position and things will just naturally improve.
Like your OB, mine didn't seem all that concerned either, so perhaps it isn't as uncommon as we might think.
Every time I felt a bit damp down there I had an absolute freak out, because I had read all the stories on here about premature rupture of the membrane etc, but of course increased dampness is just an ordinary symptom as pregnancy progresses and was nothing at all to worry about. When my waters eventually broke normally at 38 weeks I definitely knew about it!
