Dan - if you google hyperemesis gravidarium there are some suggestions for additional things to take and some clinical guidelines with suggestions. You could see your GP for an IMI maxalon then go back to the orals, which would avoid the having to go to work part if you can then tolerate enough fluids. Also include pyridoxine (a vitamin B) which is meant to help with the nausea. Maxalon 10mg TDS and Pryridoxine 25mg TDS. Ondansetron is another option if that fails but the clinical guidelines go through that too.
Also, look under the patient information section when you do the google. There is a sheet of dietary advice of what foods to try depending on how bad your nausea / vomiting is. I think it is from Qld Health. Good luck - I hope this helps.
you could always go to your GP or care provider first and let them call it - they will know whether you need IV fluids or not.. Maybe try something else for m/s, like phernergan or something different?
