JayJay, I have been following your thread and am hoping that all turns out for the best. Hoping also that you don't have to wait too long for your scan.

    Huge hugs to you

    Unhappy

mumanddadof5, Trish, Sara Jane (& all who've been kind enough to respond to my posts.) Its nice to 'hear' from you.
It helps so much - and gives us the strengh we need to face up to things.

Am going to hospitals' gynae ward for 1:15pm although have a gut feeling that I will be none the wiser for going there.

Midwife says they 'probably' have something stronger to 'listen' to baby's heartbeat at the hospital, we shall find out.

As for getting scan sorted, well it takes gynae ward ages to arrange scans, they just phone up and ask for scans and don't put any pressure on scan dept in urgent cases, just put them through as normal. So more than likely It's gonna be next week before I can go for a scan, that's IF I can go for a scan at all. Maybe they'll just say its best to leave it a few weeks and let nature take its course in a way, but that won't make life any easier for us. DH is so stressed out, he doen'st eat, sleep or do anything much - just sits with his head in his hands. Its no joke at all.

Anyway, we'll see what happens today, though as I said, I am not holding my breath somehow. Have a strong gut feeling that we'll still be left wondering having sat at hosp all afternoon. Preg test still positive yesterday btw? Thanks x

Hi all, had a scan today..........and baba's heart was beating like mad.........and it was so active sonographer had difficulty catching up with it!

So happy and relieved, I have to admit my heart was in my mouth - but well worth it, I'm glad to say.

Thankyou all so much for your support, you have really helped us so much, more than you will ever realise....anyway, so far so good, all is well.....thankyou, thankyou and thankyou loads.

hope all is going well for you lot.........take good care of yourselves xx

Dr on the ward said that the brown 'blood staining' and clots will continue for another week or so more than likely, as there's so much 'old' blood to get rid of due to severity of initial haemorrhage.

Still have to take it easy, but glad to say, not as restricted as I have been of late, so that's a good thing. I can do 'light' housework, drive etc, but must not lift heavy objects etc, and intercourse is still banned for the time being.
Dr said its best to wait until bleeding stops completely, and even then 'gently' as the womb 'wobbles' about apparently when we make love, oh well I never knew that before...we learn something new every day, eh?!

Anyway most important thing of all is that baba is alive and well....phew what a relief.

Woo Hoo!! So glad to hear your great news! I bet you and DH slept a little better last night. I cried tears of joy when I heard Charlotte's HB after being told I'd lost her and I'm sure you did too. Big hugs to both you and your husband

thanks you lot, once again you are supporting us with your kind words.
Dh and I feel closer to you than we do to people who are meant to be 'close' to us-sil phoned this morning to talk to dh and she never even bothered to ask how baby was.
Feel so sad that we have no support around here, I know other people have things going on in their own lives, but surely it would n't have hurt her to ask about her little niece or nephew?
Anyway, thanks to you lot, and sorry for going on about sil's (and other peoples') lack of interest.

Yes dh and I slept through last night after so many nights of tossing and turning.

    thanks all, tc. xx
