    The questions I keep getting asked include;

    "Have you been trying for long?" Does it matter and is it your business?

    and

    "Do you know what you are having?" I just answer "a baby hopefully" to this one.

    Not quite as rude but my dh is a minister, and one of my responses has been, "It's been a bit slow building up our children's ministry so we're padding out the Sunday School."

    I'm really pleased though that people have been much more wonderful than I was fearing. I don't care what they are saying behind my back but I'm getting a lot of, "Wow, you're a wonderwoman!" types of comments, which is nice

    I had someone comment on my being pg again while I was at my old work. It was a client who hadn't seen me since I left to have Isla. I just laughed & said yeah, some may say Im crazy. But my old boss piped in & said You thrive on it though Fiona. I can only assume he meant being pg & having babies & not being crazy LOL

    OK. Time for me to have a big VENT!!!!!

    I have found something WORSE than people asking "was it an accident?"

    You know whats worse !!!????...

    SOME RUDE PEOPLE that I have talked haven't asked me the question... instead they just carry on the conversation ASSUMING that it WAS an accident. THE NERVE!!!!! It has made me so angry.

    Maybe I am a bit hormonal and irrational (its been known to happen) but for crying out loud, some people just have no idea. I am generally a peacemaker in our circle of family of friends. I dont offend easily, I am quite thick skinned to negative comments, and so far I have politely corrected those who had it wrong..... but I tell you what.... one day.... very soon.... kaboom!

    Myson - I agree with you totally.

    I work at a Catholic school and my boss has gossiped the news around despite me asking them not to. I was "taboo"anyway becuase I was living with Kim (my partner) and unmarried but now I am pg too...oh my god all hell breaks loose.

    Sometimes I want people to mind their own damned business...OR if you really want to know if I am pregnant and if it was planned (which it was), come straight out and ask me honestly. Stop beating around the bush and looking at my gut when you talk to me...I'm fat anyway, you won't see a baby bump for ages!

    I can understand that ... we have our kids at a Christian school (purely for the education and more individual attention) and we are unmarried, have 4 kids (2 of which aren't even DP'S!! ) so you can imagine some of the looks we get ....
