OK - Need Help!!

Ok,

So DH and I have been TTC for too long to even remeber - 2+ years.

AF is late so and I was soo strong until today - at about 10:30 (after having peed about three times already since 5:30) I did a Crystal Clear - actually left work to get it and did it in the toilet and in the time frame there was a verrry faint line with colour I can see it!!!!

The problem is I feel exactly like AF is comming back pain cramps etc, my boobs are not sore did I mention back paid.

If the test is right I would be about 4 weeks 4 days please reasure me - it is the first line I have ever seen on a test....

Don't want to get your hopes up too far - but generally they say a line is a line, as long as it is within the time frames and not outside that time window!

Before you get too excited - can you hold yourself together and wait til the morning and test again?

First morning pee is stronger and the line should show up darker...

My BBs didn't get sore this time around, in fact I didn't really have any of the traditional "early" pg signs. It is different for everyone!

Congrats sounds like you're preg, maybe test again in the morning if youre not sure! I tell everyone to try the clearblue digital, they're great and take all the guesswork out. When I've been preg before I've had all the AF like symptoms too, apparently they're quite common. I feel like AF is coming for me but really hoping I'm up the duff

I was 100% sure AF was on her way the day I got my BFP this time! It is completely normal to feel like AF is coming!!! Wait until tomorrow morning and test first thing in the morning and see how you go.

I had cramping like AF was coming with my 1st pregnancy, apparently it is very common. Not my 2nd because I was onto it earlier than I got a chance to get cramping lol. As everyone has said try 1st thing in the morning but the thing I found was brilliant was a Digital Pregnancy Test. It says either 'pregnant' or 'not pregnant', much easier than wondering if you are imiagining a line or at least thats what I found.

Oh good luck hun!!!!! I really hope this is it for you!!!! Discover One hpt's and also First Response hpt's are soooo clear to read and very reliable so try to stick with those!!

I got my BFP at 12dpo using a First Response.

i felt like AF was coming on for a couple of weeks in the first month and it just never did.

In saying that, with my 2nd pregnancy i actually got AF during the first month, it was much lighter then usual but its not impossible.

If there is a faint line its likely that you are pregnant. Sometimes the hormone in your system is not strong enough to get a darker line. I did about 5 tests in the first month which continued to show no line at all...it wasnt until i did a test at 6 weeks that a line appeared.

Ok people, is it possible to get a false positive on two different tests.

Yes like a woman possessed I ran to the chemist at Lunch and bough a First Response and the line came up as soon as it could. Considering it is lunch time and I peed 2 hours ago AM I PREGNANT!!!!

Yes you are a mad woman possessed... Possessed by the desire to be pg! We all have been, or are, at some stage! We know how it feels!!!!!

Anyway - I don't think its likely that you'd get two false positives on two different brands of tests.

It sounds really good for you!!!! But we can't be 100% sure!

You could book a BT with your GP to confirm - but maybe wait and do another test in the morning!

aaahhhh i vote PREGNANT!!!

also, AF style cramping is really common as already (yes, like already!) the uterus is expanding and doing it's thang to make a comfy home for bubs.

Next step usually is to organise a BT with the GP and go from there!! (oh and to go out and buy heaps more HPTs LOL!). i think i bought like 2 more packets lol!

I was doing IVF for the third time and before my result I got my AF .. people said sometimes if it's light etc you can still be pregnant but mine was heavy, cramps etc. I also did a Crystal Clear and also seen a very light line. I was convinced that it was a partial take or something...

Well you can imagine my surprise when the nurse called and said I was pregnant!!! Now I have the little stick stuck up on my wall

A line is a line is a line! My first preg test showed a really really faint line! But I thought it was a false positive too, so I did three more tests over 4 days and each time the line got stronger and stronger! And I'm now 11 weeks pregnant! Try again in a few days and you should get a very distinct line. So congrats are in order! Let us know how you go!

congratulations! this pregnancy (& my pregnancy with DD#1), I felt as though AF was going to arrive until around 7-8 weeks, and then had cramping on & off until 14 weeks... Back pain was also one of the first symptoms I had!
