    OMG stupid hormones

I have been so down lately that my psychiatrist wants to admit me to a psychiatric hospital. I would go if I had the $5000 for the stay. So "down" is an understatement. I have battled with depression since I was a kid and been on all number of medication but finding the right med during pregnancy has been really difficult with all sorts of ****ty side effects.

I had a terrible day today.

But then I saw Tim Minchin - a person who I am fascinated with, has always been very polite to me (I used to deal with him in my last job), and I love his music - on the telly and I loved singing along so much that I got all happy, smiley and teary!

    Thanks Tim!

Amazing what one song can do.

    Hi Amanda
firstly big hugs. I too have suffered from depression for several years (since my mid teens) and have been on and off meds for this too.

Some days ar eso hard and trying to remember all the good things doesnt always help for me - can also make me feel worse IYKWIM. Talking about it doesnt help me either!

I hope the Dr are able to be a support to you through the trying times of pg and hormones.

    Keep playing that song xx
