    Red face Pregnancy Brain

This last week I have found it hard to concentrate and stay focused on anything. I am putting it down to pregnancy brain ( my excuse ) . I washed the kindy washing ( rotation thing at kindy) I was feeling smug that id washed the art smocks , dried them and managed to fold them back in the basket. I woke up this morning and it was pouring down with rain, yeap I forgot to bring the washing basket back in. WEt smocks
LOL i have had this and many other experiences this week, I just cant seem to function
Has any one else had similiar issues before?

Tan, i have had MANY a pregnancy brain moment, from looosing ultra sound referalls, to misplacing important papers at work!!! LOL
I am a forgetful person WITHOUT being pregnant and it has just gotten worse!!!!!

They have actually done scietific research abut a womens brain and what happens when you are pregnant, and even for a year after we give birth, we can suffer what they call Mumneisia (sp?) - we really do suffer from extream memory loss!! Something about our brain function and the hormmones of pregnancy etc!! Very interesting i thought!! LOL

So dont fear, you are not alone in your stupidity!!! LOL

I've had a problem losing words. Like I'll be over at the IL's, deep in an interesting conversation with FIL about Israel or Obama or something something and be in the middle of making a point when I just lose entire words. It happens any time I'm talking about anything semi-intelligent and drives me nuts.

Most recently after coming home from doing the food shopping I did my usual rampage through the cupboards and fridge to throw away anything that needs to be. I then began to put away the shopping where I put the sweet potato in the fridge instead of the cuboard, the bandaids in the freezer and when I picked up the next bag I got 3/4 of they way through unpacking it before I realised I was putting the food that I had just picked out as rubbish back where I got it from. I screamed after that - couldnt take it any more - needed someone to watch what I was doing LOL.

The worst I have done though is throw away a whole heap of invoices that needed to be paid at work........oooopppppsss, I dont know what I was thinking.
