I weighed 107kgs when I fell pregnant with Julia and was told to see a dietican, she put me on a low GI diet. i was told I would probably end up with GD as I had high insulin resistance before pregant so had to make sure I ate well and excerised. So I ate low GI and walked every day for 30min to 1hr after work etc and only managed to gain 3kgs the whole pregnancy which was wonderful. A month after the birth I weighed 97kgs (down from 110kgs when giving birth) and then a month after that I weighed 87kgs. managed to keep it off until 3 months agobut just got pregnant again! and weigh 95kgs now already eek... so have to try hard this time but its so hard with a 1 year old and being home full time and I just feel I dont have enough time to exercise and eat healthy, I have to make an extra extra effort, so far not going too well.. so I understand your frustrations.
