What is a good one you have used? I am hoping to use it post natal as well.
Any info would be fabulous. Thanks : )

The one in the BB online store is the best I can find. She's a birthy person too and totally gets it. Highly recommended, great information as well as the yoga. I just sent out my last one this week but another order coming in next week.

I got the yogayin dvd and found it really good while I was pregnant...she has also just released a post natal one as well.....is a lady from melbourne who has put itout and I think if you are local you can also do classes with her....
YOGA BABES FOR SURE! I am lucky enough to live close enough to Katie, the instructor, and her classes are fabulous. The DVD's are great! Enjoy
I've got a great one made by a homebirthing yoga teacher, you can get a copy from TLCbirth if you google the website and contact Mel![]()
Ta Everyone. I am however, not able to have a natural birth and have to have a C section. I am looking for, if available a Yoga Dvd that is open to that. *As in not referring to: this position is perfect for birth, or when contractions come ect.
I am not sure if I am able to find such a dvd but I am going to try for that first. I believe it would just depress me if I found one that was more suited to woman that can have natural birth. Sorry should of been more specific.
Any help would be fabulous. Thanks so much. : )
I think you'll find that they all talk about vaginal birth in some way. You can do it knowing that the asanas are predominantly devised with the pregnant body in mind, rather than the birth itself. The one I have is like that, even though it mentions birth. In my case I have to adapt certain asanas anyway, because of my SPD and the fact that due to this I will never birth squatting on dry land, simply because my pelvis would give way and I'd crash to the floor doing the splits!
As with all yoga, you go with your body and your circumstances and no more. It's about wellbeing, not depressing yourself over what you can't do - as with any exercise, and particularly with yoga, which has no set level of attainment.
You're only limited by your own mind![]()
Gotcha. Never ment it that way. I am all for positive thoughts. Just would like to avoid it, if possible. But like everything else that has to do with C- sections. It is not an easy find. Thanks though. : )
I can understand what you mean about not wanting all the "this is good for this part of pushing" etc. Will you be labouring at all or just straight to c-sect?
Cant give any advice on DVDs but is there any classes you can go to near you? My yoga class is quite good and doesn't go through too much labour stuff, more stretching and relaxing the muscles...
Good luck sweets!!
Thanks Mrs. Bexie
I just wanted to let you know I got biss within. Now to wait for it to arrive. Heard very good things though. Classes were not easy to find. : ( I will post after I use the dvd and let you know how it went. xx
