I just got a positive test this past week & I'm guessing I'm 4 weeks. My son is 3 and I found out at 5 weeks with him. When I had my blood tested I was very low on progesterone. So I took the hormone every night by mouth to avoid a possible MC. My doctor this go around knew we were trying and said when I got the positive to call her and then would get me the prescription right away. I won't have my levels tested till next week but just curious if this was common with women & if it can happen with each pregnancy?
I had no issue with my first two pregnancies but had low progesterone levels which severely threatened my third pregnancy in those early weeks. Constant bleeding, which was unnerving and unpleasant. I pushed my GP for a prescription for progesterone pessaries when at 5w the bleeding hadn't stopped and regular blood tests weren't good (for progesterone). I used the pessaries until about week 12. After my progesterone got sorted out I had a happy, easy pregnancy and had my third son. Good luck!
AndiE thank you for response! I never had bleeding with first pregnancy and I don't currently have any now. Good thing! I guess my doctor just wanted to be safe and put me on the hormone in case I had low levels again. I won't get blood work till jan 7th
