    I don't think either of those are safe in pregnancy.

    Your best bet is to ring a local chemist and talk to a pharmacist so they can check their little book thingy for you

    MIMS and Australian Medicines Handbook report B2, not sure which website you looked at but Mel's idea of checking with the pharmacy is the best one. they are always happy to help. Anything on the net...including BB forums may not be correct.

    My pharmacology book is saying B2 as well, but I would agree to check with your pharmacist. I know my local won't give me any flu pills when I am breastfeeding and certainly not while pregnant.

    I asked my pharmacist when pg and he said no way to either type of cold n flu remedy

    My chemist has said a product called "Coldeze" is ok to take while pg. There are no harmful ingredients but it helps with congestion (I have chronic rhinitis all year round) and it also has paracetamol in it.
