Ginger Ale mixed with orange and mango juice (tastes kinda like punch) helped me out by just constantly sipping it every few minutes. I don't like ginger ale, but in the juice it worked. Flat lemonade is another good one.

Just smelling ginger can help. Could that be an option if you don't like to eat it?

I second carrying vomit bags. I found they helped me psychologically - I was less worried about vomiting because I had something to vomit into and so didn't vomit as much. It didn't stop me spewing all over myself and husband on a plane when I was 5 weeks. He was very good to catch most of it, as I couldn't open the bag in time.

I'm also found fruit tingles or mints good to suck on. Just having that taste in my mouth helped me.
