I had bleeding at 7wks and then a serious 'threatened misarriage' at 14wks, with lots of bleeding. But the ultrasound showed one happy baby, and the OB couldnt tell where the bleeding was coming from so they confined me to bed rest for 2 weeks and it was all smooth sailing from there. Its just one of those things I guess...

I bled from weeks 4-6 and thought I was having a funny AF until I started the vomiting . I have had no bleeding since and my MW called it a threatened miscarriage.

It does scare me though as I wonder if it means I could still be at risk but it just makes me more aware of little mans movements.

all bleeding in pregnancies under 20 weeks is termed 'Threatened Miscarriage". They really don't know if you will miscarry or not.

So I'm guessing that if we knew what was really going on, a threatened miscarriage was actually normal for that pregnancy?

hmmm not sure. I'm pretty sure that bleeding is unusual (ie not 'normal') for any pregnancy. There just usually isn't much anyone can do about it.

So it does mean that you're at risk? I think I should speak to a Dr about this, so I suspect they won't know either lol. They say that when a miscarriage happens, it's inevitable so it just made me wonder I guess.
