Nope, had a fantastic unbroken sleep
I had an awesome nights sleep the night before I went into labour, I hope it's the same for you!

I wish that had happened to me Amaunet. I was kept up all night last night, but unfortunately not baby related. Have this awful pain in my left side near my back that comes and goes really strongly. It's horrible Seems like it's lots worse when I lie down, to the point DH was going to call the hospital, so trying to get some sleep sitting up on the couch now

Thanks MN & Sparklez. I have no idea what it was but it made for a truly horrible day. The midwife reckoned it sounded muscular and to call back if the pain went around the front too, but that never happened.

I was sick (think I may have overheated when I had a shower) so DH got pretty worried. Other than that I finally managed to sleep with a heat pack and haven't had a pain in my side for a couple of hours, hooray! On the plus side I'm a bit crampy at the front again so hopefully this all goes somewhere one day

my contractions radiated right through my back and hips for a lot of the labour, because Jman was a bit posterior ... could it be that?

no matter what the situation is, I really pray that it all goes well for you, hun

Nothing happening Have had a few good cramps and tightenings, which honestly feel amazing compared to the side pain from earlier lol.

At every appointment she's been anterior so I hope she hasn't turned. I don't think that would have caused the pain though, it was only on one side and not that far around the back. There's a kidney there right? I was wondering if that would have been it, it really took it out of me.

DH is a bit disappointed now cos it looks like he won't be getting out of work tomorrow lol. Got everything crossed it gets going tonight now

Well, last night was awful. After being in pain and napping all day yesterday, I just couldn't sleep last night. So I was just lying there thinking, wondering why my body wouldn't do what it was supposed to do, having a thousand stupid irrational thoughts going around my head. Then the dog started snoring, which completely set me off. DH woke up at 2:30 to me crying - by this time I knew I was getting a maximum 3 hours sleep before DH had to get up and go to work, and I really just didn't want him to go. So I poured everything out to him, and God knows how he did it but he got me to sleep.

Still very emotional this morning, but I'm just trying to go back to thinking logically. I know the EDD is just an estimate, I know firsts usually go over, and I know tomorrow night's induction is just the hospital rules, not a deadline for me and my baby. And I guess at least I know we'll definitely have her here Thursday, and I'm just hoping all these pains and cramps I'm having are working to make things easier.

Thankfully DH's work is being very understanding, they've told him to take an extra day at home tomorrow additional to his 2 weeks annual leave, so hopefully I'll be able to sleep in and relax before tomorrow night.

I just can't believe I've done so fantastically this whole time, and the last few days I turn into an absolute wreck
