I was diagnosed with GD about 2 weeks ago, and even though I'm opposite, and my blood sugar levels go too high, it's a similar principle. Have smaller meals and snacks, and try and include at least 1 carb in each snack, then 2-3 with meals. Also sticking with lower GI products so you can have slightly more, but they take longer to go through the system, to avoid extreme levels. After I got over sugar withdrawal headaches, I feel so much better. Can definitely tell now when I'm getting too low, as my headaches get to a point where my eyes are affected. Then a piece of fruit later, I feel human again.
