I have a retroverted uterus, and was told that most of the time it corrects itself not long after 12 weeks in pregnancy. I've heard that it can make it more difficult to labour, but don't know firsthand. Sorry, not much help - all I can suggest is keep talking to your doc, and DON'T google it, because its going to scare the crap out of you

I have a retroverted uterus. no probs with either pregnancy.
Google will tell you some scary things - don't go there. Your doc/midwife will know if there are any problems - most of the time there are none.
    Congrats!

Another retroverted uterus here. No issues from it in pregnancy and none in birth. It has gone back to being retroverted after pregnancy too. I think it's just a different variation on normal.

Another one here. Was told that I had one after DS was born and the Dr said it shouldn't cause problems, might just make AF a little more painful

Anyway, I had no trouble falling pg and labour was a breeze (ie. all went to plan)

I'm in this club too. Absolutely no problems caused by it in pregnancy or birth (or sex, or conception, or anything!).

I was recently informed I had a retroverted uterus, too! Yay for not being alone
I wouldn't know what sort of impact it has on conception/pregnancy/birthing as I only became aware of it a couple of months ago, but from what little I do know, it's just another variation on normal as BW says I have noticed though that DTD has been a bit more painful in the last few months so I'm scheduling a Dr's visit to ask if the positioning of my uterus/cervix has anything to do with that and if so, how to work around it. Congrats on your pg, all the best for a very happy and healthy one!
