    Another one here, no issues except difficulty getting good detail with external u/s in early scans. Birth didn't go to plan but could have been any number of other reasons for that.

    That's a point Shades, I only found out recently that thats why I always had to have internal scans, normal scans didn't work. I thought it was because of my weight but the doc said it wouldn't matter if I were Angelina Jolie, my uterus tilts away from the scanner

    All the scans done at the IVF clinic were internal anyway, so I never knew that could be an issue! I think I was nearly 10 weeks pregnant before I had a regular scan instead of an internal.

    Thanks ladies, it's great to know I'm not alone and that no-one has had any problems with it. And as Shades mentioned, it did make the 12 week scan very difficult. I'll wait till the midwife tells me it's a problem before I worry about it, I just wanted to get a feel for others experiences.
