    seriously?...

    hiya everyone,

bit of background for those that don't know. got our first BFP first month of TTC, ended in a m/c at 5w5d. we jumped back on the TTC wagon straight away, tried for another 4 months with no luck. we then decided to put TTC on hold for a while, we both just got promoted at work, resigned, new house etc etc. just felt like there was no rush. so decided to go back on the pill...

i missed 1 pill this month... i'm 3 days late... took a test and BFP... the line is faint, but it's pink. it was a squinter and DF was saying i was being silly. so i put it up to a light and he saw it straight away.... maybe it's an evap but i really doubt it...

we just can't believe it... i was tracking ovulation, DTD perfect times and no BFP when we were actually TRYING... i miss 1 SINGLE pill.. and BAM!

i'm just scared i think... 1 of the main reason why we decided to put TTC on hold for awhile is because i have this strange fear that DF and i will drift, will lose all our free time together, our movie nights etc etc. i know it probably sounds really awful and silly... but it's just the type of person i am.

i just can't believe it.... will be buying more FRERs after work so will update...

thanks for reading. and sorry if this offended anyone in anyway

    seriously?...

Wow that's great it took us 10 months of dedicated charting etc ttc and one mc and nothing them we gave up and bfp straight away lol this time we took the don't try but don't prevent approach and it only took 4 months .

I was worried about life after baby but dh and I are so much closer than before and I love him that much more for being there for me and being such a great dad we still get movie nights and outings and heaps of fun stuff just is 2 it just takes a bit more organization and planning if you get a good flexible baby sitter too eg parents it makes going out on a whim possible

All those fears and worries are normal and healthy. Trying to bring a baby into your lives is a big deal, and is so worth the time to think and get used to the idea when you do get that BFP. I am 3 kids in, and each time I got that beautiful, and much loved BFP I had fears and moments of panic and doubt about how our lives would change. It is normal and our way of processing the magnitude of new life.

Give yourself time to process and you'll find that before you know it, the joy will be there and the excitement. Try to think of it as a brand new journey that you and your DP are taking, one that is so incredibly special and one that is not taken every day...this is what makes it special and scary all rolled into one i reckon!

Wishing you all the best for the coming weeks xx

i love BB.... you always know what and how to say it to make everything seem much less scary. thank you ladies

at work, normally there's 3 of us in our office, 1 is stuck in WA delayed flight, 1 is my DF and he's in a meeting all day. i'm not allowed to leave the office unattended, so i have been feeling very sick all morning. DF just came back after 3 hours for a 10 min break, so i bolted to the toilet.

it feels like our m/c is happening all over again . i'm not ready for this!!!! when i wipe there's brown on the toilet paper. i'm feeling crampy like AF, bloated, sick.. so unless the test i took was faulty/evap.. we may m/c again... or it might be a breakthrough bleed? who knows.....

i'm just so all over the place with emotion today. i have no idea what i'm feeling. i just want to go home and test.

Oh mummyanddadd sticky sticky vibes to you, really hope this little bubba will stay and that it is just breakthrough bleeding. It must be so difficult to think positive at the moment but do try.

Hey lovey, I had 'breakthrough bleeding' on the day that AF was due, after having a nice bright BFP a few days earlier. Obviously with our history I freaked the heck out, I was inconsolable! It stopped that day and then there was a spot more the next night. I was also AF crampy for a few days around then. Nothing since and I'm still getting ridiculously dark lines and a few symptoms. So try not to freak out just yet. I know exactly how tough that is but honestly, it might be just fine!!

    seriously?...

Mummy - we fell preg a few days after seeing a FS and deciding NOT TTC!
And yes we technically weren't trying the previous times either.
As for the bleeding, I'm now 13 weeks and have had bleeding on and off. Bubs is fine.
Weirdly though I didn't have bleeding with my m/c, just a bit of spotting.
As for being on the pill, it can boost your hormones, and well they are only 98% effective!
One of my cousins was on the pill (light one) and using condoms and luck would have it still got pregnant!
FX, and lots of sticky vibes for you!

Hi MAD2Be I too got a surprise BFP after deciding not to TTC. It scared the crap out of me too!! I'm sorry you're having a bad day with spotting. Brown blood is old blood so not always something to worry about. I had spotting, both brown and pink and red on and off around the time AF was due with this pg. Here's hoping everything works out the way you want It is such a stressful time with so many conflicting emotions

Sadly with my first pregnancy when i had slight bleeding it was brown and only a little bit, but it was a miscarriage for me I really do hope though it is just break through bleeding or just "one of those things" for you it is a stressful time and lots of things will be going through your head, but hey that is what we are all here for vent away your worries. Try and rest up at work, can you go outside for a bit of fresh air and a break?

Sending lots of sticky vibes your way

the bleeding is quite likely related to implantation or even breakthrough bleeding, especially considering how close to your normal AF etc you are (i had brown bleeding for 3-4 days that required pads with 2 out of my 3 successful pregnancies and I could of sworn in both cases that it was AF).

Much love and many sticky vibes

sorry i haven't replied to you all. i'm just a little overwhelmed at the moment, so so confused and feeling a little lost in it all. thank you all so so much for your well wishes and comments. i love the support on BB. absolutely amazing, and i don't know what i would do without you all

i have put a pad in now, just incase. i went to the loo after lunch and it's light pink now, no clots or CM, just when i wipe, looks like my wee is just wiping pink. if that makes sense..

i just want 4pm to come so i can go home and test.... if it's BFP, i will book at drs ASAP for bloods.. if it's BFN, it was either a faulty test, or m/c.
