Mm, the same people who say that birth is fun and beautiful (rather than it can be ridiculously painful and there's a lot of mess!!).

You have done SUCH AN AWESOME JOB getting to this point, I've been following your progress when you pop up here and there and I'm in awe of your patience and how well you've done. It doesn't matter how many people have it worse than you do, they're not you I've got nothing - nothing! - to complain about with my pregnancies or births, and don't worry, you will hear me whinging about my sore pelvis and indigestion and lack of being able to sleep or be comfortable for the four months!!

Is there anyone who can come and play some board games with you? Another thing (don't laugh) is colouring-in books. I used to take them on long-haul overseas flights, because there is a point where you can't do much and you don't want to watch movies or read... colouring in gives you a sense of achievement and means you can focus on something a bit mindless but still passes the time....

Big hug, hope the next couple of weeks fly for you.

Aww darling!! I feel for you!!

I am not on bedrest but I have just moved to a new place, I know 1 other person here apart from DH and his army buddies, I have no friends, no job, no family, not a single thing to do so I understand the crazy feeling... I am over being sore and tired and bored and alone... I get it... Maybe not for 18mths though!! I ration out the things on my to do list, like setting up the pram, watching gossip girl/movies, looking forward to Ellen and Oprah everyday, ebaying and googling everything I can possibly think of etc... It's soo hard.

BUT at the end of this.. which for both of us is not far off at all! It will be totally worth it.. We will have these amazing little beings that we grew and cared for inside of us in our arms, in our homes. It'll all finally be over and we can eat what we want when we want, we can stop waddling and struggling to get up and down.

You have done an AMAZING job getting this far, and you will make it the enxt couple of weeks... you will be an amazing mum soon. Just keep picturing bubs in your arms, make DH buy you a book (or 5! lol), rent as many DVD's as you can, maybe paint something? A canvas or something... Do the bubs baby book, write your baby a letter to give them when they are older...

    Keep your chin up darling!!

    Hi Crumpet,

you should pm me and we can be bored together.

I'm 26+5 today and in hossy on bed rest until delivery. Bored and over it and it's not even a week yet. Doesn't help that the staff have just taken my single room off me for an emergency and last night only had 1 hours sleep.

    I hate hospital!!!!

    Thinking of you Hun,

    Take care

oh no, hospy bed rest is the WORST!!!! i feel for u hun

ive avoided it so far, see the OB on tuesday for my 32w check up and im that ill be able to talk him round, he did say once i got to 32 he would pull out all stops to get me to 34w, and said meaning more than likely ill prop u up in hospital, over my dead body ive managed to keep things going from home i rekon i can do it for another 2 weeks now!!!

    thanks hun.....

am feeling a lot more mentally balanced and stable now, the other day was a baaaaaad day!!
i tend to struggle once every couple of weeks, so hopefully thats my melt down over until she is here now.

have had a nice weekend with DH home 2 days instead of 1 so that has helped a lot!
