    Gargle some honey in hot water. Make it a far chunk of honey - 50/50 split of honey water. Honey is a natural antibacterial. You add some lemon if you wanted. The acidy would kill off anything the honey missed, and helps to hydrate.

    I gargled salt water three times a day for a couple of days to make mine go away, It always helps otherwise im contantly getting antibiotics. Although i wouldnt say it sooths more to than kills some bugs lol

    You can take strepsils - provided they don't have any menthol in them. The pharmasist has a big book they can check in to make sure the ones you buy are safe in pregnancy.
