Swine flu vaccine?

I've come to the conclusion that if I get the jab it will be in March sometime. Maybe there will be a revised vacc to treat the new strain? I've been meaning to look in to that....

I think flu vaccines are always made using the last strain to have gone around, as they can't make a vaccine for a flu strain that hasn't been infectious here yet? I think it's because the flu mutates so quickly. I'm pretty sure the same thing goes for the swine flu vaccine, whatever shot you're getting will be based on the last strain to have been here.

Anyone, feel free to correct me if you know otherwise!

I'll be getting the vac for myself and my DS. DH and I work in an environment where ppl travel a lot and I use public transport. DS is also in day care so I think we are open to the virus.
i've spoken to several GPs and heard what they said.
So will be getting the vaccine for us, I'm not going to risk anything happening to me, my unborn child or my son.
