I agree with Dianna Renee - don't feel guilty. We spent about $750 on just the cot and its worth every penny (its a Boori one that converts to a single bed so its going to get a lot of use). And you can use it for subsequent kiddies, or sell it second hand when you're done. If you don't have to be really really careful with your money, then enjoy buying what you really like
