Question Is there anything I can safely take for a blocked nose?

I currently have bronchitis and feel absolutely shocking . One of the most annoying things is that I have a really blocked nose. I dread every time I have to swallow because it feels like my ears are about to explode because the air isn't escaping through my nose LOL! My poor customers are having trouble understanding me on the phone too!

So, is there anything I can safely take whilst pregnant to help clear up my nose? I have tried the Fess saline spray and it does absolutely nothing. I am going mental and I just want to be able to breathe properly!

It's horrible being so sick when you're pregnant, you can't take cold & flu tablets and you can't use normal nasal sprays - NOT FAIR!!!!

I'd appreciate any wisdom or suggestions

OMG it's horrible isn't it. No, I didn't find anything I could take And the Fess didn't help me at all either, felt like I was just clogging it up more.
    it is the worst!

    Thanks everyone!

Mel - I might go the the chemist and ask about those tablets. If I can drag myself off the couch and out of the house that is!

SJ - IKWYM about Fess, your nose already feels horrid and then you spray yucky stuff up it for nothing LOL!

I used one of those Vicks sniffing thingos. Not the spray one, just the one where you sniff the vicks. Just be careful because pregnancy can give some women sensitive noses & it might sting a bit!

Thanks Sarah! I might see if I have one lying around.

I just want to use the nasal spray I used to use when not pg! It worked so well and really quickly.
