Salsa - i'm hearing you re driving not being as good as should be - i'm sure that i'm the same, althought while i'm driving everyone else is the culprit!

i feel better reading this knowing i'm not the only one. i'm forgetting everything, including when my scans are! - when i looked at the piece of paper yesterday (and i'm usually particularly good at things like that - remembering dates & numbers off my heart - not anymore)

I'm forgetting staffs names - even though I do the hr contracts at work and have been here 18 mths! i can't even excuse myself thru preg brain cos they don't know yet - although a few ppl have said 'are u feeling ok?' haha .

Never lock the front door and pull it shut!!!!

ALWAY use your keys to look the door from the out side this way you know you have your keys in you hot little hands and not on the floor near where you put on your shoes!!!

And after you have baby never leave your keys next to your babies car seat when putting baby into the car as you WILL leave them there and it will be on this day you car decides to luck it self with baby stuck in the car and you a screaming mess on the out side!!!

Never look at ladies who are almost due to have there baby when you are at the start of yours as you will freak out at the size of them, and might say something that will make the poor PG lady feel very big indeed...

That goes for you men to you know BHL did it to me when I was 6 weeks PG with DD1 we were at the local pool with DS when we saw a very very very PG lady and BHL said " Gee been PG isnt very flattering is it hun" He never did say anything like that to me again as he had to deal with a very *****ty wife who wouldnt let him touch or look at me from about 6 mths on wards it was a very dry few month for him LOL

What it the wind catches it???!!!" and I dashed back and unsnibbed it before continuing out to the mail box - phheww!. DS is away for the night, so I would have been stuck!!!

Don't go shopping for kitchen utensils and ALWAYS take a shopping list for grocery shopping. It became a joke in our house whenever I headed out - my DH would say "don't forget to buy tongs and taco shells". I bought 4 pairs of tongs and who knows how many boxes of taco shells during my pregnancy with DD#1. Whenever I was standing in front of them in the supermarket aisle I'd look and think "Oh, I need some of those!"

Last week i left the front door wide open while we went out. Not a good idea. Luckly no one broke in.

Whenever driving i always put it into drive and take the handbrake off, before i have turned the car on and wondering why its not going anywhere.

    1 dumb thing

The only really dumb thing I have done was leave my ATM card in the ATM when i was staring at the balance slip to see if my BSB number was on it! It got saved by the machine when I didn't do the next transaction and JUST WALKED OFF!

Luckily it was at my bank and they retrieved it for me when i realised at medicare that I didn't have my card anymore.

These stories are so funny to read!
I'm finding I forget words or they come out all jumbled.

When I was preg with Ash I remember forgetting my pin number, luckily 3rd try I got it right. And I cooked spaghetti then went to pour it into the collander to drain it but forgot to use the collander so dumped the whole lot into the sink!

Oh glad it's not just me

I've been locking the backdoor when going out ... religiously ... and leaving the key in the lock ... on the OUTSIDE!! DH does not think this is funny at all

And I paid DH's bakkie's licence in August ... never thougth about my car. Only realized yesterday that my licence were to be paid in August too. We bought the two vehicles together and last year I paid their licences TOGETHER ... this year .. it did not even come up in my mind. Had to rush to the DMV to pay the darn fee and licence.

Is this the beginning of the end of my brain???
Yes indeed it is!!!!!! I had a few moments, but the one that makes me laugh the hardest is when I was making toast, and put the bread in, and the top was sticking out. I cut the top off the bread... instead of just turning the toast around (which would have fit.... I didn't even think of it...). More embarassing, my sister was visiting, and she had toast, and I said "oh you'll have to cut the top off the bread if you want it to fit"... LOL!

And running on daylight savings time all day one day, I was an hour early for everything (train, uni etc), and wondered why everything was running late.

I also tried to put the remote control in my pocket thinking it was my mobile. Lucky it didn't fit!

And the best one.. A girl came to work bragging about how she had lost 3 cm whilst on this diet for a few weeks.. Instead of just thinking in my brain, I opened my mouth and was trying to work out how you lose cm when on a diet.. (I was thinking height, not around the waist)..
PMSL that reminds me, someone was saying to me "I'm on this new diet, its so great etc etc" and I said to her "so is it working?"... whoops!

I think doing the washing and ironing. I couldn't find DH friday shirt for the last 2 weeks. I know I washed it and ironed it but for the life of me I couldn't find it. Of course this drives me nuts so yesterday my first job of the day was to pull every piece of clothing out of the bedroom and re-arrange it all. Which I really needed to do this again anyway. I ended up taking 3 bags of clothes to the Vinnie Bin. Anyway this morning still annoyed that I couldn't find it. I thought I wonder if I should check the linen cupboard and low and behold there it was folded in with the towel. In fact there were 3 of his shirts in there! I think thats a good enough excuse to get someone else to do the clothes sorting at least.

    Oh these are SOOO funny!

Some advice to you all, especially if you shop at big centres. Go and tie a coloured ribbon around the arial of your car. So many friends of mine called the police to report their cars stolen and more than one has a story of being driven around Eastland car park by the police sobbing and pregnant because they lost their cars!!

My orange ribbon SAVED the day several times, especially as I tried to drive off in the WRONG car once....

Been there done that!! My vote is for a lanyard, that way your keys are always round your neck
