I'm glad you now know you have a positive BT!

That same thing happened to me with my last pregnancy (except my doctor was a lot nicer about it). Did you have blood tests at the end of your last miscarriage? The way I clued in to it was when my doctor told me I wasn't pregnant he also said that my hcg level was 8. I thought, 'that's uncanny that it's exactly the level it was when we confirmed that my miscarriage was complete' and asked the date of the report - he had just read the wrong one.

Gabi - that sounds like a reasonable error to make (though not showing much responsibility on the dr's behalf!)

congrats on the updated status dee!

That sounds confusing. Perhaps he did both quantative and qualiative. The quantative takes longer to get a result on - so perhaps your level was say 24 and then when the qualitive came in it said negative but then when the quantitive came in it gave a figure??? Or maybe he had your bloods mixed up with someone elses...
Serum BHCG is always more accurate than urine..
    Congratulations Dee and hoping for a H & H 9 months ahead...

Gabi - yes I did have BT`s after my miscarriage so that could explain it, I hadn`t thought of that myself.

Thank you for the Congrats Girls

Congrats. I bet your doctor read the old result. Usually these days they look at the result on a PC so they could easily look up the wrong one. Then the latest one came in and he/she would've realised their mistake but just didn't want to admit it.

Anyway, congrats. Wishing you a happy & healthy pregnancy.

Yeah!!! Thats so awesome - sorry you had to go through all that drama though. What a nightmare. Sounds like the doctor made an error and was trying to cover his tracks.

    Anywat great news Congrats!!
