My boy is only 2 but i find he is so much more affectionate than his sister. He loves cuddles and gives lots of kisses but DD doesn't. I think a lot just depends on the child's personality but i know that DH is still a 'mummy's boy' at age 22. Congratz on finding out it's a little boy though!

Forgot to add that DS is in no way a wuss either. He is very much a boy's boy. Loves dirt, trucks, cars, bashing things. He is also very care-free but still loves his cuddles from both myself and DH.
