Hi eevee,

You're certainly not alone. We didn't have any scans/appointments scheduled between 12 and 20 weeks and by week 16 I was just like you. I rang my OB's rooms and they suggested I go in and see a midwife. She did a quick check up of me and we heard the heartbeat which was so very reassuring. I started feeling movements from 17 weeks which helped ease my mind immensly and now although I probably tend to worry a bit more than some of my non- IVF friends who are pregnant I have calmed down heaps with time. So I know it's so much easier said but done but do try to relax a little as the stress and worry isn't good for you and bub. I go to fortnightly acupuncture which works for me but any sort of gentle exercise, yoga etc might help you relax?

There is a forum for those of us pregnant after long term trying to conceive (LTTTC) which you may find helpful, it's a lifeline for me! Sorry I can't post the link, I'm on my phone.

Wishing you all the very best.

Lise xx
