Some specialists also work as an OB and expect to continue as your OB once they have finished being your FS.

BUT - this does not mean you need to continue seeing them!

My FS does not work as an OB at all, but he still does the scan somewhere between 6-7 weeks of pregnancy to check that everything is ok.

I would imagine that a trip to your GP would reveal your options more fully.
