Well I guess Linc is definatly sensitive to cows milk protien too. Last night was back to how he was prior to the soy formula and would only settle on me. I'm so tired. So back onto the soy formula even if the GP suggested lactose free, "not working"

Our house is a complete shambles - having kitchen rennovated. Can't wait to clean up and put everything back where it's supposed to be. A is having a great time helping his grandad with the work (he has his own tools)

afm.. we took bubba c too have her needles this morning and omg how terrible is that ,she screamed down the drs surgey and i felt so sad for her ,but would rather her have them than getting whopping cough or something else .so now dh is cuddling her on the loung as shes a bit restless and id say needs heaps od cuddles today poor poppet.BUT OMG GIRLS guess what ..my girl went to bed at 10pm last night and i didnt see her again till 5am then she had a big feed a pooy and went back to be till 9am only to have to wake her for the dr im so proud of her today what a good baby aawww i luv my girl lol..i put her in her basinett in her own room last night so she couldnt hear us and its worked a treat, gave her a bathe and baby massage round 9pm so must have worked woohoo.
Green, just quickly... sounds like it's a cows milk protein intolerance rather than a lactose issue.
Friend's bub had the same issue - for one child goats milk formula was ok, but the next was intolerant to the proteins in that one as well and he had to go onto neocate - an elemental formula only available on prescription. If you're worried about soy (and I would be, but that's me!) then neocate could be the best option.

we had the same thing,, ever since Ash went into his own room everyone sleeps much happier Someone else mentioned it.. but i also can't cosleep. it just doesn't work for us... well me. but i have a bad back and find it incredibly uncomfy plus i only ever doze not sleep.

my girls has slept again
from 8pm till 2am then had a feed went back to sleep till 6am had a feed and still in bed even after her needles yesterday im so proud of her maybe shes finally finding some routine,i gave her a bath late again and another beautiful baby massage .
so im off to do the food shopping and to buy a new baby monitor there one on sale at toyworl for $40 bucks down from $100

I'm exhausted from work this week. And this is just the setting assessment phase - on Monday the marking begins and I'm so not looking forward to it!
Anyway... I had to do a GTT a couple of weeks ago and finally got to see my GP about the results yesterday. With my first one, my insulin at the 1 hour mark was something like 297, but with the latest one I only got to 220-ish. Still pretty horrendous when you realise that it's not supposed to get above 80!
So it's back to metformin for me. I don't know if many of you had metformin as part of AC, probably just the PCOS girls... But I'm sure if you've had it before you'd know why I'm worried. I took my first tablet tonight - after having pasta for dinner! Could be a rough night ahead!
At least if I end up having to take the day off work Sam's at daycare so I can relax in peace and quiet at home - and probably go mad cos I'm not used to being alone any more. Will be a rough night, too - DH will be at church until late so I'm doing dinner, bath and bed solo - and Sam's so set in his ways and there's certain things I have to do and other things that daddy has to do... ugh! I have confidence that we will manage. DH went out briefly last night and I had a bit of a meltdown and when Sam saw the tears he just snuggled up with me. He went from hyperactive psycho chicken to snuggling quietly in an instant because mummy was upset. He's such a sweet little boy - offers to share his dummy with us, and his bottles.
oh bw i spit in the face of metformin. you poor thing, i was on it for a few years before we conceived Ash and it really is not that pleasant. sending you a big hug hun. take it easy and what a good boy Sam is! how sweet.
We are off to our first ABA meeting today and despite what my ticker may say, Ash is 12 weeks old today
He has settled from the screaming unhappy bub a few weeks back and is sleeping better at night... last night 5pm feed 6pm bed; 8pm feed; 2am feed; 6.30am feed and he's just gone back done again lol. So i definitely think it was wonder week/growth spurt.

my mum's group organised by community health is getting together next weds for a St Pat's themed morning tea I arranged it but its at another lady's house. I'm so excited because I won't have to spend my birthday alone at home now although i'm not telling the ladies it's my bday cos i don't know them very well and jsut feel odd about forcing strangers to wish me a HB.
anyhoo, i have to go and find some green things to make for morning tea hahahhaa
wonder how murph's move is going? well i hope.
