    Happy Birthday to him JBM
9 years.... sweet! If I were younger I'd go for 4-5 year age gaps, I reckon Get through the first hard years and into school, then go back again after some sleep!

I'm not sure I would want to go back after sleep MadB, probably a good thing my boys are only two years apart

Happy birthday to DS JBM, can't believe he's one!

I figure I need the break before starting over again! It would be all-round awesome to have the baby and the sleep, of course....

wow!! happy birthday Hunter!! as if it has been a year already!!! crazy =D

I have thought about that MadB, doing it all with one and then start again fresh....but I think once I see the light on the other side I will stuggle harder doing it again =P better to just get it all done in one big continous forever go =P because we all know that sleep never happens again anyway, even when they are grown up =)

By the time DS1 started sleeping through I was pregnant with DS2, so not too many full night's sleep. Maybe one day. All I know is that I'll take great delight in waking the boys up when they're teenagers and just want to sleep

exactly right MadB, truth is, I am happily giving up all my sleep for my little alien, and all little aliens that choose to join us in the future, whenever they choose to join us. =)

    hehe Lise, revenge is sweet!!

    happy hatchday Hunter!!!
Spock is now crawling. and even pullung herself up! that is too soon for me!!! she also just got her 2nd tooth.

we are thinking of the next one. if we werent doing ivf i probably would wait until she is 2. but because of it we are going to try when she is 1. i will regret and be sad about not having more children but wont regret having them too soon. even tho Spock is still a baby.

Its been a long long time since i've been on here, sorry. Big hello to those i remember TT40 (thanks for your message i've only just got it ), JBM, lise and hello to MadB and anyone else here.
The last 9&1/2 months have just flown by...our little girl is growing up way too quick!! All is going really well and am loving being a mum but still pinch myself everyday that its finally real! I will need to catch up on where everyone is at but just wanted to pop in quickly and let you know I am thinking of you all and I hope to be able to post a bit more now that i'm actually getting myself organised with some quiet 'me' time during these peaceful daytime naps!

Take care everyone, dont melt outside today...what a stinker!!

Re: Parenting after LT TTC #8

most of my baby chat is with my belly buddies. strange that ltttc seems to fade once you have your bub... i had a dream the other night i gave birth to twin girls and i was sitting there with both of them on my boobs and Spock sitting next to me and i remember feeling overwhelmed with relaxation. all stress and pressure was gone. i didnt feel that good cause of the babies tho. i remember thinking how fantastic it was that we would never have to go through ivf ever again. (as 3 is a good comprimise number...i could live with 3 kids)
aside from thst brief couple of hrs of sleep where i dreamed that is about all the sleep happenibg here... atleast i know why it didnt happen last night...she had 9 poo nappies in 24hrs. 7of those were serious poo splosion ones....im sick of poo!!!
    how is everyone else??

    hi everyone,
I'm on my first day 'home alone', Dh went back to work today, not helped by the fact my nanna died yesterday and we have to organise the funeral, I was up all night either crying or BFing and today all I have done is feed/change poo explosion nappies and clean up spew, then start again!!!! Just put her down and have manged a shower and hung out a load of washing, hopefully she will sleep for a bit and I can have a nap, as I will be hysterical by tonight!
Ah well, the first day was always going to be hard, we will get there, luckily she is cute!

TT40- will reply to your post in 'midwives thread' when I get a chance, also have to do birth story someday. 9 poos is extreme, I just did 2 in a row and was horrified.
Yogi- so nice to see you hun, 11 months is very old, he must be adorable, well done xx
    Hi everyone else.

I was lying in bed fantasising about a life without TTC or contraception, hooray!! Will make DTD interesting, i can't remembe when we last DTD without ivf or ttc ( besides pregnancy), just go to get the nerve up to go for it after a LOT of stitches down below, but they seem to be healing ok.

    Is anyone actively TTC again?
