Hi everyone

Just a quick drop in to let you know our princess is here.

TARA ROSE was born at 9.40am on 12/10/09 weighing 3.2kg (7lbs) and 50cm long via elective c/section.

We are still in hospital but I am recovering extremely well from the c/s and am only really suffering from after pains when feeding which are just like having period pain. It was also good that we opted for the c/s as at delivery it was found that we were in fact placenta previa and also that the lower part of my uterus wasn't correctly developed (hence no head dropping in to place).

I'm thinking of you all, especially Neptune as you are so close and once home I will hopefully get time to write up our birth story.
