Neptune: He is too cute and such a big boy and his blonde fuzz is fantastic. Both DH & I are fair haired and Tara has a mop of dark hair, it seems you and your DH have darker hair and Adam is fair. Just goes to show that you can't pick what they will come out like.

I didn't know you could link Facebook photo's, so here's photo's of Tara at birth

    Happy Cup Day..
Allright... I'm going to give the ole persies ago and sorry in advance if I miss anyone..

Lise - Congrats on your BFP.. I hpoe you have a h&h 9 months.. Enjoy it because mine is flying by...

Mitf - Great numbers... Try not to worry too much about symptoms as all I have had is the extreme exhaustion in the first Trimester.. not sick or anything (Please don't hate me everybody)

Congratulations KellyD and Neptune on your gorgeous babies.. how exciting for you..

Smithy - I can't believe you are still so sick Hun... I loved the nursery.. I love butterflys and even have a Tat of one on my "Lower Back".. You have done an awsome job especially being so sick and all...

Grub17 - I hope that you are doing ok with Hubby away.. Sounds like your Mum has been a good distraction and your Sister coming sounds good too... Yum.. Lamb Shanks.. my favourite..

BOC - Big hugs Hun for the Cr@p that you have been going through lately.. I've had a fair bit of stress too and have been worried about it's efffect on Lil Kracker so i bought some Dove body wash and when I have a shower I massage my belly and sing.. My fave is Single ladies at the moment.. DH thinks i'm nuts.. it certainly calms me a little..

Bella55 - You super woman for cleaning behind the couches, You're doing sucha fantastic job keeping your little ones safe but I can only imagine how tiring it much be to have the two bubs to carry around..

Poppyfairy and Saph204 - I will flat out refuse the swine flu vac as there is no way we can know what effect this will have on our unborn chidlers.. We spend so much of PG avoiding food and chemical dangers to our babies and are then asked to inject a foreign body into our bloodstream.. no thanks.. I guess for most of us we will have had our babies before the next flu season rolls around too... saph204.. I hope ypu get some pain relief soon and you can be alittle more comfortable...

Greensl - lol about you skirt... My clothes are already starting to drive me nuts...

Persephone1 - Hi Hun.. I hope that the MS is not hitting you too hard.. take care of you both...

AFM - I have my first appointment at the Gold Coast Birth Centre tomorrow.. I get to meet my midwife and ask heaps of questions... I am so excited... I'm an info horder and I have run out of general info to reasearch and now need a more focused approach with specifics as to what i'm in for and what their policies are (sorry.. I'm a little full on when it comes to how I am planning to birth Lil Kracker).. And I have my next scan on the 23rd of this month and we will find out what colour bundle i'm carrying... Woohoo...
I hope everyone is well and I hope to be able to keep up from here on in... (Sorry if I missed anyone...)

    Hi girls,

Just a quick one from me as it is SUPER LATE....oops

Have been flat out trying to get last minute things organised before bubs arrival and tonight we found a brochure that the hospital gave us months ago about cord blood banking so made some last minute enquiries about it and we are now going to try to organise it for tomorrow's delivery! Its for stem cells for bubs just in case it may need it down the track. I wish we had of found the brochure earlier as we now need to call them at 8am to see if we can get it done, then we have to somehow sign a contract, pay for it, contact the OB to let him know we are doing it and all this before delivery at 1.30pm!
OMG!!! ANT we still havent chosen a boys name either....DOH!

Its also nearly 2am and I have to be up at 7am to eat before 7.30am as that is the cut off before I have to start fasting! How did I get myself in this predicament, LOL

I wont have internet access at the hospital unfortunately so you will all have to wait to hear my news when I come home which Im HOPING will be next Monday, otherwise Tuesday.

Take care girls and belly rubs to all

Not long now... At least all the running around will keep you occupied until the birth... Maybe that will be a good thing... Looking forward to hearing about the birth...

Smithy 8.5 seems a tad high for random test but I need to know the full context to make a better judgement. i.e. when had you last eaten and what had you eaten type thing.
The GD test itself is very unreliable and shows alot of false positives IMO providing unecessary stress and angst to a lot of pregnant women. You would get a much more accurate diagnosis if you were able to do home blood glucose monitoring (finger stick tests) say four times a day 2 hours after meals and one fasting one first thing in the morning. if you did this for a week you would have a much more acurate picture of whether GD is likely. A one off random glucose like you did could happen to anyone diabetic or not.

Hope that makes sense....also a level of about 5 would be an expected fasting level not after food.
