lise! what fantastic news! i watched P&P last weekend lol. enjoyed it very muchly despite the fact i've seen it a million times. i always feel all romantic after watching it!
i'm glad your HB was good, even if there was just the one!
to answer your question - my DH is in the defence force and was sent away for an 8week training course, due home 10 days before bub is due! eeek. we don't live near any family or friends and i've just started mat leave - so its.... ummm... an interesting time! but all is well, just a bit lonelyand why you'll probably find me on here... a lot lol.
as for gender/names ... the majority of girls have decided to find out the sex. some choose the name and share, others (like me) just give our bub a nickname (bluey or grubby bub is our bub's name for now lol). It's completely up to you what you do - you won't get any pressure here to reveal name/gender etc and you'll get heaps of support if you choose to share.
my DH really wanted to find out... he felt it was giving him some control over something in our journey for a child. i would have been happy to not find out, but unfortunately I just "knew" from about 6 weeks that it was a boy. the scan just really confirmed it, but i was 100% certain it was a boy (mother's instinct lol). am glad we know tho, as i've been able to really buy plenty of stuff
