Pregnancy After Long Term TTC - Feb 2007

Hey Jo

I found from weeks 4-9, I was so so tired...but it did improve!!!

At 6-7 weeks you can see a little heart beat...which is just so amazing!

I had my 19 week scan today...it was great! Everything with the baby is fantastic...it has a fat little tummy!!! Didn't find out the sex...but think it might be a boy...

It was a little disappointing in that the sonography clinic had a brand new ultrasound machine...so the sonographer was training to use it that morning...he was finding it pretty hard to maneveur and as a result the ultrasound was very fragmented...his stress levels were rising throughout the 40 minute scan...and so it was a little stressful...

But...I guess someone has to be the "guinea pig"...he was lovely about it...very apologetic...I felt a bit sorry for him...but just felt that he was focussing so much on the new machine and not so much on the baby...

Having said all of that...the baby is fine...growing beautifully...so I really don't have much to complain about!
