Just a quick and selfish post from me but wanted to let you know that are DD EVA (short for Evangeline) was born on the 13 the of Jan by CS she was 3.37gr and 53 cm long (another tall one ) Not bad for 38 weeks. Had some fluid in her lungs and spent some time in special care but she is doing great. We just got out of hosptial as i had some problems with my CS scar but other than that we are great and very tired So i will try to get on again to catch up with eveyone!!

21, GL with your trip to the GP tomorrow. I am on progesterone pessaries twice a day because I had spotting early on. They're not pleasant but the spotting stopped as soon as I was on them. Hopefully your GP has a plan of attack or at least some reassurance for you to put your mind at ease. Stay positive!
janie- yay...glad all is so spot on. And I also hear you on the poo thing...i have thought the same thing myself when thinking about how it will be to give birth one day
rara- hope you are feeling ok and not too queasy
21- the hcg level sounds fine...they vary a lot and what matters more is the rate at which it is rising and you need more than one BT to see that ..pessaries might help keep your progesterone up
DD is quite settled today so it's given me some time to come and catch up in the thread. I've been thinking of you all even though I haven't posted since the birth
Won't do any personals, but just wanted to say that I hope you're all feeling well, and that you're enjoying great belly rubs and minimal aches and pains and minimal m/s.
And congratulations scooby! I hope you have a wonderful time getting to know Eva and that she is settling down well after her time in special care. Hope you're continuing to recover well from the c/s and the scar is not giving you too much trouble anymore.
morning - sorry selfish post today. I haven;t felt the rascal move for approx 24 hours and heading to the hospital now. I should have listened to my gut and gone yesterday. I have a bad feeling about this.

AFM- ok nto a great day because we foudn out that we might be eligible for the Baby Bonus...which was going to pay for our Home Birth...oh dear...this is getting frustrating.
yes - thanks Nicole - rascal was hiding. it took a while to find the heartbeat too, but it was there good and strong. I thought I'd dealt with my issues about my SIL's still birth she had at 40 weeks - maybe I need to work on them some more.
on the up side - the private hosp. we're booked into were brilliant. Told me to come straight in and I went straight to the birthing suite and straight to the doppler. No waiting and worrying (well, no more than I already was). They said to call any time and that they would see me when ever I needed to - very reassuring.
so glad all was ok Nic - i get stressed if i don't feel bubba for a few hours too - so far the longest has been about five hours, DH could see how worried i was, so he set up the doppler and found baby - i was too shaky - i'd be a mess if it were 24hours!
Thank goodness everything is ok Nixon... these little one's sure do like to keep us on our feet!
Big congratulations to Scooby and Numa! Wonderful news about the safe arrivals of your little ones. Can't wait to see some pics!
HM - all the rules have changed with the Baby Bonus as of 1/1/9. Now means tested and also not paid in a lump sum any more. I think it is paid in 13 fortnightly instalments. I'm sure that the universe will find another way to bring you what you need xxx

21 - I'm no expert on HCG numbers further along than about 4-5 weeks, so am probably not much help. I agree with Possums though - the main thing is the rate of the rise. As long as they continue to rise - that is good. In regards to the progesterone - really push for some pessaries. I was on them up until I was 10 weeks pregnant (due to my pregnancy being a HRT FET). They will help to support the pregnancy until the placenta takes over.

AFM - all is well. I'm so glad to hear that other people are a little freaked about the whole pooping thing! I had a discussion with my DH last night to make sure that he didn't freak out on the day if it did happen. He is so sweet - he joked with me and said that it is the one day in my life that I can get away with doing anything. So I am starting to feel a little less anxious about it!
HM - baby bonus is payable if your combined income in the 6 months after birth i less than 75k, and you are in Au on an appropriate visa (or Au resident/citizen - not sure your status since you've been o/s for a while!). it's payable for any baby born in Au...
Yeah - I was pretty stressed yesterday and this morning - got dropped off for work by DH at 7 - googled normal movement at 25 weeks - freaked out - rang the hospital - rang DH - he came back to get me - and off to hospital in peak hour. Thank god for the private hospital and not having to wait in emergency to be seen.
I think part of my issues with SIL is that I maybe refuse to believe that it could strike twice and that we are not blood related. They never found a reason why the baby died - she found out the morning she went into hospital to be induced that there was no HB. She still had to be induced and give birth. It was heartbreaking. I'm not normally a worrier, but then I started thinking what if I leave it another day and we find out tomorrow that there was no HB and knowing that I did nothing. *Ugh* it's too much to bear sometimes.
The midwife did reassure me that the movements would change as the space available gets less and that the bambino can have upto a 90 minute sleep pattern. So, I might be sitting there waiting for something while the baby is asleep - then I go off and do something and the baby wakes up and has a bit of a move around then back to sleep - then I start trying to feel movement again. You know what I mean?
Anyway - I've only had one very slight bump since the hospital and one more just as I typed that, so I'm feeling better.

I think we all have fears until bubs is out and am sure even then the worries never stop.
Janie, good to hear that your DH can handle to pop thing.
I guess I never thought of it much but I guess if it happens the OB and nurses have seen it happen more than once.
AFM, 21 weeks today I have started feeling June Bug for about a week on and off. Such a great and strange feeling...almost feels like bumps in the dark.
I don't know if you can feel them turn at this stage but yestersday afternoon WOW had the strangest feeling on the left side of my belly.
