Thanks for the reassurance Ellie - been feeling very guilty about even thinking about taking something.
I agree - the MS is reassuring and if it went away completely I would freak! But sometimes it is just so bad that I can't function. I haven't told work as of yet, and I need to make sure that I can get here and put a reasonable days work in.

Hi everyone,
Janie I'm sorry to hear that the m/s is knocking you around, but I'm thrilled to hear that your scan showed a perfect little bub developing! Woohoo! Good luck with your OB appointment on Monday, and enjoy seeing the bub again - it's so wonderful when you can see so much more developing so quickly! (we had a scan at 6w1d and again at 7w4d - we noticed such a huge difference!)
QueenH - hope the two weeks goes as quick as possible for you, and that you have a wonderful scan, so exciting to find out if it's one or two!!
TL - been thinking of you lots, and counting down hun. By the time you read this it'll be two sleeps to go! Can't wait to hear how everything goes, and hope you're hanging in there ok.
Shannon - you sound really great, hun :) Wonderful that DH is being able to enjoy the movement and the excitement of that now. Such a great thing to be able to share now. I'm looking forward to the exact same thing for my DH too! My DH is also like a big kid waiting for Christmas (literally!!) to come - he keeps shopping for baby stuff on ebay, and he waits almost everyday for his parcels lol. Hope the sciatica continues to improve - the physio sounds marvellous! Do you find that the sciatica is worse overnight in bed, or during the day when you're moving about? Thanks for your understanding and words - I appreciate it
BW - I've been reading what's been happening for you, but so so tired at the moment back at work - no energy to respond, so sorry. Please know I've been thinking of you lots, and I'm so glad to hear nothing more about any further bleeding. Not a nice scare :( Hope you're feeling better, and recovering from the shock of it.
Scooby - Hope OB appointment yesterday went well! Glad that water aerobics felt so good. Similarly, I found antenatal yoga brilliant first time (it starts again in September) and I can't wait for it again. Like you, our instructor gives tips for labour etc. - so good. Hope that baby brain with the coffee sorts itself out ;) and that those kicks and wiggles keep making you feel good :)
Hi to Ellie, Devon and anyone else I may have missed. Hope you're all doing well :grouphug:
AFM - we had our 20 week scan today. CB was lying transverse, which was a nightmare for the sonagrapher  Took 1hr 20mins to get all the measurements and checks done, including me getting up for 10 mins for wiggles and jumps and walks around to try to get the baby to move into a better position. Found out that my placenta is lying anterior, which I don't think helped with the scan. Upshot of that is that we got to see CB wiggle and shake for over an hour, despite the discomfort of the ultrasound wand being dug into my stomach! We've got an acrobat, who insists on keeping its feet up around its ears! All was well - measuring exactly to date, and no abnormalities on the scan. Woot! OB appointment this Thursday, and seeing the midwifes next week. Now back to the waiting game again, but we have some wonderful reassurance and lovely scan pictures to soothe in the meantime.
-
Miss C - Love that CB is a beautiful acrobat I am so happy that you got to see CB for an hour :)
-
Oh wow this thread jumped into action yesterday :)
Firstly Miss C - So glad your 20 week scan went well and CB was entertaining! How beautiful to get to watch for an hour. I am presuming you and DH are waiting to find out gender? Oh and the sciatica is only bad driving or sitting up at my desk at a restaurant etc.
Janie - Oh hun so sorry to hear the MS is knocking you about so much, definately trust your OB (who sounds fantatsic!) and take the maxalon when you need it, baby needs a healthy mummy and they wouldn't give it to you if it wasn't safe  hope you are feeling better very soon!
Ellie - Hope you are coping okay with your MS as well, definately sounds like there is one very very sticky bub in there!
Queen - Oh how exciting good luck with the scan, heres hoping the two weeks flies and you can see your bub/s!
TL - Oh hun 2 sleep left and i am so excited for you! Hope you had a lovely day with DH yesterday and that Thursday flies and you get to see your little one/s!
Scooby - Lol glad you enjoyed water aerobics and what a helpful teacher!
Big :bellyrubs: to BW, Devon hope you ladies are going great!
AFM - Starting to feel quite huge and uncomfortable, also think i must have low blood pressure because i keep getting all faint and light headed. But we do reach the big 24 week on Thurs which is exciting to know my babies could survive on the outside if need be. We have our check up scan on Monday to check they are growing ok but i am feeling pretty confident because of how active they are.
Also got my results back on that freckle they cut out and things were scarily bad, it was cancerous and would have turned into a full blown melanoma in 3 - 18 months. Luckily they got it all and i now need 6 monthly specialist check ups. Was not expecting those results at 23 and with twins on the way lucky if i would have thought to even get my freckles checked in the next 18 months  Thank goodness i went to keep a friend company!
Gosh i babble! Have a great day ladies :)

Still here, still good, no more scares... just still crazily busy - and this is me slowed down! But at least it's been busy with good stuff - picking up a new car, cruising around baby shops and getting prices and trying to make decisions on which way we'll go with things.
The next week or so is going to be crazy - 2 hour GTT on Saturday morning (still annoyed I have to have such a full on test so early, like the OB is already assuming I'll have GD and that there will be problems), wedding on Saturday afternoon, 18 week scan on Tuesday afternoon (hope the parasite behaves we are hoping to find out what we've got, if my weird dreams don't freak me out too much), acupuncture Wednesday afternoon and OB appointment Thursday afternoon... I suspect that there may be an episode of crashing in a screaming heap and resting at home for a bit, but we'll see how we go.
Sadly, no time for personals as the bell is about to ring for me to go actually work and stuff (how rude!), but know that I am reading, even if I'm not finding the time and energy to post and I'm really enjoying how positive and active things are in here lately.
Welcome to all the new girls - there's so many of you I'm finding it hard to keep track!
BW
-
Morning everyone!
Sorry I haven't been around for a while, just so, so tired. Will do my best to keep up more, especially as it's getting so busy in here now! So great to see so many LTTTC pg ladies!
BW - Oh my god! I am so shocked to hear of your bleeding episode. That must have been so, so scary for you and DH. Thanks goodness everything is OK with little parasite. I hope you can manage to slow down a bit even with your hectic schedule. Good luck for your GTT, is that something that we all have to do? Very exciting that you have a scan at 18 weeks, I hope you get to find out the sex!
Shan - woo hoo on reaching 24 weeks this Thursday ? what a milestone! Really glad to hear that bubs are really active and doing well. I hope your scan on Monday goes well and you get to spend some quality time having a look at how your babies are doing. Your DH sounds gorgeous ? it's lovely that he's so excited. That is so scary about your freckle, but thank goodness you got it removed! I keep meaning to go to one of those mole scan places, I really should do it.
Miss_c - yay on your 20 week scan going so well!! That's another big milestone! So glad to hear that all is well with CB, it must have been wonderful to see him/her for that long and to get some great pictures too. Best of luck for your OB appointment on Thursday, and for the midwives next week ? I love having all those appointments ? so reassuring!
Ellie - I hope the m/s isn't too bad for you at the moment. It's nice to have a bit of reassurance, but it sounds like your body is taking it to the next level!
Janie - Yay on your scan results!! That's fabulous, you must have been so relived. I'm really sorry to hear you've been feeling so sick, not fun at all. I hope you're managing it OK with the maxolon. It's nice to hear that your clinic was so responsive, it's so reassuring to feel you're in good hands. Best of luck for your OB appointment next week ? how exciting that you'll get to see bubs again!
TL - how's the m/s treating you hun? Not long till your scan now!! Very exciting! Can't wait to hear how it goes on Thursday.
Queenh - oh no, you won't have jinxed yourself! Tiredness is also a great sign, and the m/s will vary. I hope the time before your scan passes quickly and you're getting to see that little heartbeat (or heartbeats) before you know it. Waiting for those early scans is agonising.
Scooby - I hope your OB appointment went well and you got to have a look at little bubs. Glad to hear you enjoyed the water aerobics, sounds like a great thing to do. I think I need to try to build up some small degree of fitness. Your pg brain incident sounds hilarious! It's great that you're feeling so much movement already ? that must be so reassuring.
As for me, 16 weeks this week ? I can't believe I've made it this far! I'm hanging out for my 20 week scan ? still four weeks to go. I don?t know how I'm going to make it, but I guess time just passes slowly and I'll be there before too long. I can't figure out if I've been feeling movements, or if it's just gas. I'd love to feel some movements to get some reassurance that all is OK. The sonographer said my anterior placenta would mean I feel movements later, so I'm tyring not to fixate on the movement thing, plenty of time for that.
I've been thinking I might look into getting a doula, my lovely OB is on holiday until a week before my EDD, and I'm worried I'm going to get his partner who apparently has a reputation as the 'king of caesarians', so I think I might need to have an extra professional support person there for me and DH.
I hope I haven't missed anyone, :bellyrubs: all round.
Love to all
Devon

BW:
So gald there has been no more scares and things are good
Shannon:
Hope your little ones are making you a bit more comfy
Me:
Well I get home from work just b4 my scan and go to the bathroom and there is blood o no. In my opinion at the time it was red but after visit to the FS it is brown and 4-5days old so baby is playing up as bit!
Anyhow we went for our scan and told the FS I was bleeding he scanned me straight away foun bub and then found the heartbeat. We saw it our baby and a little flickering full stop :loveshower:
So the good news is the blood is old and baby is ok and measuring 6.1 days so on track and we scan again next friday
-
I'm sure these kids will send us prematurely grey before they even arrive, Linda!
Great news on one special little bub being in there. I can imagine that you're somewhat disappointed that the other didn't make it... No real advice about that situation, I'm just glad to hear that all is well so far!
BW
-
Me too thanks BW FS said it was just a naughty baby must be taking after dad
Nice new avvy
-
Thanks, Linda. Never thought I'd have my own avatar like this. But I really love it now, and by the way my clothing is now NOT fitting, it won't be too long before I look like that for real. I had to jump straight from a size 12 to a size 14 at 4 weeks because of the mild OHSS. Now I have trouble doing up the buttons on my size 14 pants... I had hoped to get through to the warm weather before I needed to be in maternity clothes full time!
BW
-
Hi Ladies
Linda - sounds so cute talking about your 'naughty' baby...and taking after dh!
BW - I'm needing to go up a size already which seems crazy when I'm 6 foot tall! I always thought I'd be waiting forever to show but I'm so bloated and have a 'fat' looking belly already...and that's with all the throwing up!?
I've actually managed to go out today...and no ms...feel almost human. MS seems to be kicking in later everyday...and I'm not complaining!
Hope everyone's had a great day :)
-
Oh TL soooooo happy you got to see bubs heart flickering away. you must have freaked when you saw the blood (i know i did) they just keep sending these things to test us im sure of it. But again bigg yeeeeehhaaaaa for your gorgeous little one!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi to everyone sorry bout lack of personals but runnin as usual!!
-
TL - YAY on seeing the heartbeat! You must have been so relieved, especially after that horrible scare! But huge congrats to you hun, I'm sure that's a sticky little bub you've got growing in there.
BW - Looking hot there hun! I am now fully in maternity clothes (well, maternity bottoms anyway), I can't fit into anything else.
Ellie - yay on the m/s decreasing, that's great news! I was pretty big at 10 weeks too.
I love my new avatar!! Ever since I joined BB two years ago I've dreamed of having an AV with a bump! Still can't really believe this is actually happening.
 and :bellyrubs: to everyone

Thanks was very excited to she the heartbeat blood has gone brown and only spotd today so will be able to relax a bit when it is gone but happier today. I must say a bit sore after my scan though

Hi
TiggerL: That's great news you and DH got to see the little one's HB, nice and reassuring all is ok  You stay in there baby Tigger!
AfM: I have had a similar experience to TL. Had bleeding on Tuesday night and called the IVF nurse on call because I was really worried. It was weird as it was full on then stopped going to brown spotting like you've described. I was sent for a BT the next morning, waited all day for the results. I thought it was a MC for sure! DH had the day off and I rested. Then found out I was still pg with HCG levels apparently where they should be. Clinic said that the bleed could be 1 embryo out of the 2 MC. However they also said they would not like to speculate and it could well be nothing in particular. I have another BT tomorrow which will hopefully show a rise in levels and confirm I am still pg. I feel pg with MS the last 2 mornings and smells making be feel queezy. I have a scan on the 25th which may shed some light on the situation.
ButterflyW: I was wondering when I would need to buy some new clothes. I looked at maternity clothes the other day and just coudn't picture wearing them! I wouldn't know where to start. Maybe I'll just wait until I need them, or is that leaving it too late? BTW I like your Avator!
Have a great weekend every pregnant body :bellyrubs:
-
Thats what my Fs said but he also said it could be bub being naughty and just moved a bit
-
TL  what a fright you must have got - but what a relief that you had a scan the same day. It really is amazing to see that HB isn't it! If it helps any, from what I have been told if it is old brown blood, then it should be okay. I believe that if it is fresh red blood then there may be something going on. Even then I have heard so many stories of people going on to have a healthy bubs.
QueenH  I can't believe that you too have been through the same stress. I think sometimes it can be late implantation bleeding (by that I mean it has taken a few days for the blood to move down).
Both of you take care of yourselves and try not to worry (easier said than done I know). Take comfort in your other preggie symptoms like MS.
Hi Devon, Scooby, Ellie, BW, Shannon, Miss C and anyone I have missed.
AFM - well still having good days (when I just feel nauseous and tired) and bad days (Nauseous, tired and with vomitting added on). But overall doing ok and I am loving being pregnant! I think I have started to show already, but my DH disagrees. But I can definitely feel my body changing and I have got a slight pot which I never had before. Finally my BB's are starting to get a little sore, although nothing like I thought they would be (after all that preparation from many times on Pregnyl - I thought they would at least be as sore as that, but no). Having difficulty finding food that I want to eat... have gone off meat, so off to buy heaps of vegies from the markets tomorrow.
Finally, I have first OB appointment on Monday - so excited! Get to see bubs again which I am looking forward to. Also looking forward to asking heaps of questions. Then we are paying our deposit on hospital booking... so it really is all becoming so real! Just want the next 4 weeks to pass quickly and without incident so that I can move into that second trimester and be able to tell everyone! It is so hard not letting on that we are pregnant when I am just so excited about it!
Have a great weekend everyone!

Thanks everyone bleed has pretty much stopped had some Ap today and bubs and I are feeling much better
-
I'm pretty tired this evening (been having lots of fun at the Big W baby sale), so I'll just make it a short post...
I'm loving the avatar too - never thought I'd get to this point, and I just LOVE seeing it there. I'm really spun out that it's actually MINE!
When it comes to clothing... it's really hard to predict what will happen. Some women pop really early, IVF pregnancies can bring a lot of bloating in the early days... I grabbed some pants a size bigger early on. Just some cheap ones, because I figured I wouldn't be in them for too long, but I realise now they will also be handy for after baby. I also grabbed a belly belt (hated it and have never used it) and some belly bands (much more comfortable, but I still feel like my pants are falling down)... I've been fine with the size bigger pants up until this last week when suddenly the buttons on the size 14 pants are refusing to do up! Things seem to start popping out practically over night... might be an idea to start looking and try on a few different styles to see what you find more comfortable. I can't stand the under belly style at the moment, but I can see that it's going to be heaps more comfortable when I'm bigger. Also, look for styles in normal tops that will expand around a belly... I'm at the point where regular tops feel (and look) silly, but most maternity clothing is still rather tent-like, but baby-doll tops and things that gather under the bust are brilliant for now. They are also cheaper than maternity clothing in many cases.
Linda, did your AP use points on your big toes? Because I had so much spotting in my first pregnancy, mine has left me with a moxa stick and told me which points on my toes to heat in case it starts... worked brilliantly with my one little scare a week or so back, and during some really heavy and prolonged bleeds when my body was protesting the pill.
Janie, the food aversions don't seem to ever go away... Hang in there with it all. Just make sure that you are eating. The less you eat, the worse the nausea will get. Regular snacks!
Devon, seriously loving your avatar too - it's great!
Queenh, good luck with the repeat blood test. I'll be praying that all is well.
Going to go catch up on the rest of BB before I flake out now... the carb binge is nearly over! The fast begins in about 20 hours... Dreading that phase of things...
BW
-
We did do stress on Big Toes and managed the moxa one other time but as the bleed has almost stopped he was more concered about manging stress both he and the FS think bub moved a bit.
Have the moxa stick here though so I may give it ago if in need to thanks for the reminder
-
Hi everyone :) Thought I might pop my head in here. We got our BFP last week.
I was going to wait until we have a heartbeat before I joined in, but I guess that's what this thread is for.... stressed out women hoping everything is going to be ok. It's been 3.5 years of waiting and I still can't believe it's happened. :)
I have had some nausea, with the worst being in the middle of the night and keeping me awake, but the last 2 days I have felt almost back to normal which has me worried.
Had a dating scan on friday, but way too early as I'm only about 5 weeks so all we saw was the sac.
This is so new to me....having spent so much time focusing on ttc, when it comes to pregnancy I have no idea!! How many weeks generally until we can see a heartbeat?
-
Megan, generally a heartbeat can be picked up from 6 weeks on an internal scan. With an abdominal scan, you may need to wait until 7 or 8 weeks.
I always had normal days which would freak me out - but you tend to get in a pattern of what to eat and when to eat it that helps keep the nausea at bay. Get out of your routine even slightly and you end up feeling like hell again.
Glad to have you join in, Megan.
BW
-
Thanks BW. :) Looks like I have a wait ahead of me. I just had my scan next to where my GP is and I think they only do abdominal scans.
DH is so excited, like a kid at Christmas but I can't bring myself to be excited until I see that heartbeat.
Thank goodness for having a busy couple of weeks ahead of me and an assignment due date looming. I need something to keep my thoughts on other things. Although, saying that I realise I am sitting here on BB with my assignment in front of me, and my thoughts are definitely not on that at the moment!
-
Megan :welcome: and congrats I hope all goes well and you have a happy and healthy pg.
-
:welcome: Megan, a huge congrats to you and DH! Fantastic to see you in here and i hope time passes quickly so you can see that beautiful heartbeat flickering away :)
-
Megan - welcome to the thread and big congratulations on your pregnancy! I can understand your DH being so excited! I think it's pretty normal for the m/s not to properly kick in until after six weeks, so I wouldn't worry about it going away - I'm sure you've got plenty of morning sickness coming your way!
I hope these anxious early weeks pass quickly for you.
Wishing you all the best for your pregnancy, may it be healthy and happy!

Good news no sign of blood at all today so feeling much better
 to everyone and thanks 4 sleeps to or scan on Friday
-
HI Y'all,
Wishing everyone a good week :D
:welcome: Megan and congratulations on your BFP! I only recently found out too and it seems to take forever to get to see the heartbeat! Just think of all the time you've spent getting to this point, a week is not long in comparrison. Hope you were able to finish your assignment! I can't talk though, all I think about is how the baby is going.
TL: Glad to hear the bleeding has subsided and hope you are travelling along well. BTW What is a moxa stick?
BW: Thanks for the advice re: clothing. I went and bought some thingies (?!) which extend your pants, so I am ready to take on my expanding waistline.
AFM: I had another bleed on Friday afternoon, went for a BT on Saturday and all is okay. Which I still can't believe. Asked for my scan to be moved from next Monday to Friday, will find out later today. After the second bleed I must admit I was pretty concerned, but the clinic reassures me all my levels are going up. I have come off one of the medications and now just on pessarries, which are pos. causing the bleeding, so I am looking forward to coming off them. Otherwise trying to take it as easy as I can without going overboard. MS is also picking up the pace
BB regards
from Queenh
-
Queen H  sorry to hear about another bleed but if the levels are rising that is a good thing so you have a naughty baby too  (That is what our FS called ours) A moxa stick is a heating group of herbs used in accupunture feels really quite nice
-
:Hi everyone
Yay its so good to see this thread so busy. Just hought id say hello!
queenh: im soo glad alls well, the bleeding is very scary and hopefully its just those silly pessaries, i have heard they can irritate the cervix and cause bleeding, hope it helps but i know a girl who has been bleeding off and on her whole pregnancy she is now 30 weeks, so i  it stops when you come off the meds but if it doesnt you can still have a healthy pregnacy, BUT we really dont need the added worry do we
TL: so glad your bleeding has stopped thats great, i really hope your keeping well with just enough ms to reassure you !!!
Shannon: how are your gorgeous bubs going i bet it feels like the weeks are starting to speed by now!!
Megan: :welcome: congrats on you BFP and hang in there, it is so hard to get excited when youve been through so much to get here. Hope the next few weeks fly by.
BW: hope the GTT wasnt too horrible and that you are feeling good now youve decided to take it abit easier. I am wondering now if the AC has something to do with so many of us in this thread having some spotting or bleeding, i wonder has any studies been done?
Devon: hi and yippppeeeee we are now 17 weeks woooohoooo!!!! Dont know about you but it has been really dragging, i think cause we find out so early. I went out with my BF yesterday and her husband said to me oh you must be nearly 5 monthes now and she totally jumped at him and went NO shes only 4 monthes i wanted to scream its been like a year!!!
Well ive been good still doing water aerobics which is fun just cant seem to find any decent bathers, i am so frustrated with clothes at the moment as i am too fat for normal clothes but too little for maternity, so i have a very limted wardrobe, must admit i dont have much of a belly yet i just look fat
Got very annoyed yesterday as mum is in the uk and phoned to speak to her she wsnt there so i talked to her friend who i havent spoke to in at least 5 years, and can you believe she gave me a lecture about how "lucky" i was ( yes with an ectopic a missing tube, OHSS, 2 years of meds, needles, blood tests and op's (like i need to tell you girls) Yeah real lucky ! dont get me wrong because i do feel very blessed that on my first IVF i got my BFP, but theres no way id be callin it luck! And then....... I got the you girls should be happy that you got one to begin with (as i already have DS) If she was standing in front of me i would have hit her ( nothing to do with the agro preggo hormones i have at the mo!) Seriously were do people get off!! ANy woo sorry for the rant i told DH and he kinda of got it but didnt really !!
Well going to go sit in the glorious sun and unwind before i get ds from school. Hope i didnt miss any one!! and great to see everyone doing so well!!
Oh forgot to say my CS has been booked for 16th of january, not sure im fully decided on that path yet, but if i do that means im half way there yipppeeeee
-
Hi everyone - wow it has been busy in here!
Sorry for the lack of personals, but just got a moment to pop in here. Just wanted to let you know that I had my first OB appointment and I am so happy with my choice! I had used him previously as a gyno, but I had forgotten how amazing he is. The midwifes are just lovely too.
Anyhow, I am happy to say that I got to see my beautiful little baby again today. Measuring perfectly at 8 weeks (15mm) and a strong HB that we got to hear today as well as see. OB was over the moon with results. He said that if this scan is normal then your risk of miscarriage goes down dramatically. So he said all should be good for our baby to arrive 30/31 March 2009.
No wonder I have been feeling so crap - Baby has grown 9mm in the 10 days since our last scan. DH and I are just over the moon as I know you will all understand.
So next step is BT on 1st September and Nuchal Fold U/S on 15th September then OB visit. Then finally we will be able to tell work/friends about our impending arrival.
I will come in and catch up with everyone's news tomorrow.
Hope you are all well - I am walking on air!
Janie xxx

Janie that is excellent news :cheer:
Scooby good to hear from you almost half way:clap:
-
Queenh, I hope the bleeding has settled down - I had a bleed earlier in my pregnancy so I know how scary it can be . But the levels are going up so it sounds like you have a sticky lil bubba!
Everyone else, I love reading your posts and it sounds like all is fine and dandy - yay for all the courageous LTTTCers!! I am hopeless at doing personals as I seem to have a ridiculously short term memory, so I'll just randomly pop up now and then and say helloo to everyone :wiggle:.
My happy news for the day is that its my DHs birthday which means I can update my signature so he is a little closer in age to me again. Silly I know . I also have bought him a few presents that I have assured him I will be happy to receive if he doesn't like them (win win situation). Currently I'm tossing up baking a birthday cake or lying on the sofa and putting my feet up... hard choice! What would you do?
-
Hi All. Hoping you all don't mind me joining in. I am due around 12 april 09 so only 6 weeks. I posted somewhere else about my concerns as my 6 week scan showed fetal pole and heartbeat but FS said it is measuring a week small so I have to go back for scan next Tues. Trying to be calm but beside myself with worry. So scared of what she will tell me. Have been eating more steak than I can bear just to try to help with growth.
Decided to stay home today and its raining outside so bed is a nice place to be. I just didn't want to stress at work and have to work as well.
Hope you are all going well - it certainly sounds like it. I don't think I will be calm until I am 37 weeks and the baby can survive on its own. I thought after IVF I would be so excited to be pregnant and i am but wow - the worry..... I didn't foresee that part ! I will read away and get to know what has been happening here so sorry for no personals until I get to know you all. x
-
Welcome Waiting and congrats! Ahh yes the worry is so unexpected but completely normal and sadly i dont think it ever goes away, we will stil be worrying about them when they are married and having kids of their own!
Will be back later for personals but just a quick update :) Scan on Monday went well, our little girl is still on the very small size but has grown since last time at a healthy rate so they are just going to keep a close eye on here to make sure she keep growing properly. But they tell me i have very active bubs (no kidding! ) and they are both head down and right up next to each other and kicking like crazy. I am suffering big time from lack of sleep i am getting quite sore and the bubs keep waking me up. But so glad they are doing great! We are 25 weeks today so only 12 weeks to go and 7 week of work! Can not wait to not have to go to work anymore!
Huge :bellyrubs: to all!
Shan
-
Hi everyone
How is everyone doing today?
Shan - having two little bubs in there kicking away all the time sounds exhausting! Good to hear that your little girl has grown a bit, hopefully she will keep growing at an acceptable rate. I hope the remaining 7 weeks of work pass quickly for you, you're really on the countdown now!
Waiting - congratulations on your pregnancy! I'm sorry that the scan has given you so much anxiety, I think most women worry a bit, but pg after LTTTC can be agonising. I hope that your next scan goes well and bub has caught up a bit. Those u/s machines do have a bit of a margin of error, so hopefully that's all it is.
Hi Numa - how are you going? Did you end up baking the cake, or did you choose the lounge??
Janie - great news on your scan - congratulations! You must have been so relieved. You're getting there, not too long till you're 12 weeks.
Scooby - I agree, it's definitely dragging. But then sometimes I really can't believe I'm 17 weeks. Just really, really want to get to that 20 week scan. When is your next scan? I can't believe what your mum's friend said, it would have been very tempting just to hang up on her. Where do people get off telling you how you *should* feel about anything. Best of luck deciding whether to go the c/s path or not, I read your other thread, that's a tough decision to make, but you've still got plenty of thinking time left.
QueenH - great to hear that your levels are still going up, that's the most important thing. Hopefully it's just the pessaries causing it. I hope you are going well today.
TL - glad to hear that the bleeding has stopped. Best of luck for your scan tomorrow, I'm sure everything will be fine. So nice to have that reassurance, can't wait to hear how it goes.
Miss_C - how are you doing hun? I hope that little bub is treating you well and you're feeling good.
BW - how are you doing? How did you GTT go? I must check in on your blog.
Have I missed anyone? I really hope not. Quite a few people in this thread now ? it's great!!
I'm just waiting, waiting, waiting for my 20 week scan. 19 sleeps to go. Still don't think I've felt movements. It's so hard to tell, because there is a fair amount of gas going on, but sometimes I feel like it's not like anything I've felt before, so perhaps movement. So confusing. Feeling a bit anxious, I just want to know that my little baby is OK in there.

Hey all sacn was a day early and bubs measures 7 weeks 5 days :cheer: so happy. No signs of a new bleed but still may have brown CM for a few more days. 12mm today grown 7mm for last week.
Waiting worry is normal I have just had a week of it and did not expect it either sure bubs will put in a record effort.
Devon - Waiting is so much fun

TL -:dance: that is fantastic news. All appears to be going well after the fright of the bleed, which has obviously had no effect on your strong little baby tigger! When is your OB appointment?
Devon - if it helps at all, a friend of mine described the first movements as feeling like champagne bubbles inside her. Is that anything like what you have been feeling? GL, I am sure all will be fine. Not long until that all important 20 week scan!
Shannon - I agree with Devon - it sounds exhausting being pregnant with twins! It is great you are at 25 weeks... My sister had severe preeclampsyia and delivered her little boy at 24 weeks. He is doing just amazing. I know that you have been worried about having them early, but docs normal tell you the worst case scenario and you have already made it past that 24 week mark! Although the best place for them is inside you, my gorgeous nephew is an example of how strong these little one's really are. It is fantastic that your little girl has grown.
Waiting1 - Welcome! I see you are in Melbourne too. I was tempted to stay home today with the rain and my MS. I will be  for your little one on Tuesday. Just remember that these measurements etc are only guidelines.
Hi Numa, Scooby, QueenH, BW, MissC and anyone I may have missed. Hope everyone is well.
AFM - much the same. This week bubs must have been growing like crazy as I have been feeling like crap. And finally my BB's feel as sore as they used to on Pregnyl! And they look like they are growing in the night time. Every morning I get up, they are a bit bigger! Also have a definite bump that can no longer be sucked in!
