    Hi Mon
Huni try to relax event hough its hard. I am 13 weeks today and had spotting 3 days before my blood test and i thought it was all over red rover. That was at 4 weeks. Then at 6 weeks I had a fair amount again of brownish spotting...absolutely freaked out. Had a scan and found everything was fine. Could have been an implantation bleed they said. Then a few days later which happened to be around the time that I AF would have arrived, i had a smear of RED....was so upset and again turned out to be nothing. So what I am trying to say is, try not to worry but please go see your FS, maybe they can give you a scan or another blood test to make sure things are ok.
Its such a horrible time I know but its good you are in tune with your body, so please go and see your FS or GP.
Thinking of you sweetie and please keep us informed of what happens ok.

Mon, I had the brown spotting 3 times between 6 weeks and somewhere around 12 weeks i think it was? I also had it with DD. It's still scary though hope you get a phone call back from the FS soon with some answers for you.

Big hi to everyone, hope you are all well.

lis, hope you are holding your beautiful bubba in your arms right now.

Shannon, how are things with you?

    Thanks Shannon, Carla and Nic.
This is so hard. Still have some brown spotting, and some of the old crinone is coming out too. Called clinic and earliest can see FS is tomorrow. He is double booked but have advised I can hang around as am also going in for 2nd BT. Praying that it stays like this. DH has just arrived home. He is just as stressed. He's just gone out to buy some POAS tests.
Thanks for your stories, it gives me hope! Am just going to rest. At least I have had no more cramping.

Mon - Also following with your journal, very glad DH is home with you. try your hardest to relax and it isn't over until the fat lady sings..... and i dont feel like singing!!

Carla - Congrats on your little girl! How fantastic that they could tell alreadya nd everything is perfect!

Nic - Thanks for asking after me

Things here are good we had the nuchal scan Monday and 1:20000 chance of downs etc so very happy. Babies are perfect Squeak was very naughty and was doing rolls the whole time so it took and hour and half to get the measurements. Perfectly happy with the pregnancy, but i guess i haven't been posting much about myself i am struggling a bit with feeling so happy for us and having to watch friends struggle down the AC road still. And that balance of wanting to support them, but is it more painful than beneficial for them. Hope you guys know what i mean but its hard. I never thought we would get here and now we are i just want everyone else here with us!

And i guess i feel a little guiltier that we are having twins... IYKWIM.

Ok, this is me tentatively putting a toe in the water... I've been awfully hesitant to join up because of what happened last time, but it's time to start thinking positive!

We're due on the 16th of January, and had our first scan of our little parasite on Monday - measuring perfectly for dates and teeny little heartbeat blinking away at us.

I guess the first job is going to be attempting to catch up with everyone...

    Hi everyone

Just wondering what your thoughts are on this issue I have. I am VERY scared of have a scan done of my baby, especially in the first trimester (currently 5 wks 2 days preg). The reason for this is I have miscarried at 6 weeks before and it happened the day after I had a scan. I know it is probably a coincidence, but I would be so mad at myself if it happened again... Am I being neurotic?

Woohoo BW!! So good to see you in here

numa, I can't say it better than what Shannon already has.

Shannon - Yep, I get the feeling bad about moving on into here and leaving others behind that shared in our journey's. LOL at squeak doing rolls and being cheeky with the measurements. so glad to hear all is well with both bubble and squeak and you too

Has anyone noticed if there has been a BA for lis yet? She had someone doing one for her didn't she?

Ok, we are off in the morning for our OB appointment. We are triple booked, so I'm sure there will be quite a wait.
Not too sure on when we will get home, probably a little late, so will have to try to catch up with everyone sometime friday hopefully?

Oh yes Carla, I'm sure your DD will have your DH wrapped around her little finger as soon as he holds her. Mine is 8 and a half and still has daddy wrapped around her little finger. After she was born he would visit me in the hospital and pick her up first and sometimes I would get a hello, but mostly he just sat there all day with her in his arms.

Mon I'm so sorry to hear your news, and am feeling very self centered for not reading far back enough to see something was up. You deserve all the best the future can hold for you Take care...

Shannon and Nic, thanks for your replies. Shannon your advice was great. I had spoken to my nurse and she said "I think you have to have it done", so it was great to have someone remind me its my body and my choice.

Also I'm sorry everyone if it was a bit of a negative thing to discuss in here I know we are probably all quite scared at times, having been on such a long journey to get here. I am however glad to hear of many of you having positive experiences with early scans.

    Hi everyone!
So nice to see some new faces in here.

Mon - like I said in your journal hun, I'm so very sorry for yours and Mass' loss. I'm so proud of you for looking at the positives right now. You're an amazing gal. YES - you can get pg, and you WILL again my friend. xo

BW - a huge congrats to you for being brave enough to put your toe in the water. I can understand how scarey it must be for you. Such awesome news about your scan hun. All's looking great!!

Numa - welcome to you, and congrats on your BFP! Don't apologise for any negativity hun. We all completely get where you're coming from, and are here to help you through it. If you don't feel comfortable about the scan, then by all means, don't feel you have to do it. Perhaps, have a chat with your doc about your feelings??

Shannon - so good to hear that your scan went well too. Sounds like you've got a couple of acrobats in there

Nic - haven't seen a BA for Lis yet, but am about to scoot off and check again. She'd have had bub by now. How exciting! Hope your Ob appt. was hunky dorey hun!

TL - how you doin' hun?

Carla - I am so pleased to hear you sounding so much happier after your scan. It's a girl - wooohooooh! Congratulations!! Welcome to your 2nd trimester hun!!! The best part of the pregnancy for sure!!

All's well with me. DH and Mr.Ob got along like a house on fire. Silly me - swab wasn't a big deal (nurse did it). Nic - an internal swab is done around 35 or 36 wks to test for Strep B. It is not a deep swab, and is over in 5 seconds. If you have Strep B, then they just give you antibiotics during the birth to prevent bub from picking up the bug. Not sure if they still do for a c/s??

    Have a nice day all!

    Hey Everyone !

Arielle - Im doing well. So freaked out now its getting close. Im so far along and Im still in like a dream state about this whole thing after so long of trying. I just want him to be ok. I will not rest until I have him in my arms. Feet now swollen and ever so sore but resting heaps. Getting teary & very tired, hope thats a sign.

Butterfly Warrior & Numa- Yippeeee ! Come in the water is fine, some have floaties on and some are doing swimmingly well ! The pool is huge and there's lots of support if you feel like drowning ! Everything crossed for you! Im so excited for you both.

Nic - hope your OB appt went well.

Carla - Congrats on the news of a little girl! How sweet ! Great that you have new dates too.

Me - Had OB and have to pick the 10th or 12th for induction if I dont go before then. That gives me 12 days and I am totally anxious about the whole thing. Am now thinking of considering pain relief which I never did before. Getting scared and cry everytime I think about holding him. Im praying he will be ok. After all this I would be messed up for anything to happen to him. I am so scared more than ever before. OB next week and he is doing an internal to see where Im at. I just want him in my arms safe and breathing.

Lots of News in here and it has been uplifting for me and exciting to hear how everyone is. Thanks for being there!

    Hi everyone

Hope your weekend is looking good. I'm counting down to my third BT on Tuesday.

Shannon - thanks again for your sound advice , there is no right answer, just what is right for me. Glad to see your bubbas are doing great.

Carla - congratulations on your scan going well and finding out you are having a little girl! Glad to see you are feeling more settled.

Nic - only 5 weeks to go? how exciting Don't feel too bad about leaving behind other LTTTCers - everyone who has success after a long journey is a huge inspiration to those still on the road. Success stories give so much hope when its most needed.

BW - I can see from your signature this has been a hard road, I'm hoping for you this one has a happy ending

Arielle - thanks for the lovely welcome, reassurance and advice I am going to ask both my FS and my GP (who is much easier to talk to) lots of questions before I decide about the early scan. Only 3 weeks to go for you!

Traceylee - only 2 weeks to go! Its great to see so many of you so close to finally holding your little one . I've heard its not uncommon to get scared once you get close to the day, try to trust yourself, we women are designed to do this sort of thing!

I'm feeling a bit worried this morning as I have few symptoms at 5 wks 4 days. No morning sickness at all (I didn't have it last time either), the dull cramping has stopped, the only things are sensitive nipples, slightly bigger boobs, and a bit tired and frequent snacking. My first big milestone is to make it past 6 weeks, which is when I lost my little one last time . Please stick around bubba!

Welcome BW. Its great to see you've plucked up the courage to dip your toe in lol. I wish you the most amazing pregnancy hun.

Numa Please try to relax hun. I know its a hard thing to do espacially after LTTTC and a loss but I swore that positive thinking really did help me in the long run.
Alot of people don't get M/S until the 6 or 8 week mark. The tender nips and enlarged BB's and frequent snacking etc are all very good signs that everything is coming along nicely. Take care sweety and all the best for the next B/T.

Traceylee Your up next hun. Can't wait to see your B/A. Have you asked someone to do it for you?

Nic How did your appointment go? Did you and DH survive the wait?

    Any news on Lismith?????

Hi to everyone else. Hope you are all doing really well and those bellys are growing nicely. It sure is great to see lots of new faces and can't wait for you to join us in the parenting after LTTTC threads
