Mel hope ur scan went well & ur just busy showing them off to everyone.
Still no m/s here, thank god. However I had a stack yesterday @ 5:30pm, lost my balance & took a few steps forward on the concrete but couldn't recover, so grazed/bruised all 4's & a little on my palms & hit my belly (lower abdomen). I was sooo scared, I rang my IVF clinic & the nurse assured me everything will be fine as there is alot of padding in there & it's only a few mill in size at the moment. Tummy muscles bit sore though, like I've been doin situps.
Mel - How did it go today? Was DH overwhelmed?
Shell - Hope you are feeling a little less bruised soon.
Hi everyone,
Sorry I haven't been online. It's because I've been asleep probably. Just too tired for words these days.
Well I saw Apple this morning (and it is only Apple so I don't have to come up with another fruity name). I saw a head, a spine and a beating heart. Dr H doesn't have the facility to give me a picture but I just took DH to The Visible Embryo on the web to show him what it looked like.
Seems to have implanted correctly and is growing normally. Dr H estimated my due date as April 4 so that's it for the moment. I've received different estimations from different people but I figure the IVF ones know better. The cycles seem to be calculated a bit differently. Now no more doctors for me until my first obstetrician's appointment on 30 August. Actually that isn't so far away now.
Sorry for briefness and selfishness of post. I've missed so much BB due to zzzzzzz time and I really need to sit down and catch up.
Hope you are all doing well.
Love,
Mel
Mel,
I thought you had gone to bed, leaving us in suspense. That is great that you saw the HB and everything is looking good.
Mel congrats on a great scan
Mel,
excellent about seeing little Apple's heartbeat and knowing that everything is going to plan. I think that first scan must be the most exciting!
And don't worry about DH too much. Even my DH says he would't want to go back for our last blast, that this is it. Me, I figure I've got the patience to wait him out.
Shell, hope you're feeling a little less bruised.
I went for my 3rd BT today and will get my results at 2pm. They're checking my P4 levels as my tummy is still 3-months-pg big and they're going to do the HCG while they're at it. Would be nice to know that my levels are rising in a textbook fashion.
I'm dead tired too, and pretty much fall asleep at about 7pm after dinner, only to wake at 10pm, 3am and 6am to go to the loo. All strangely thrilling for me!
I want to thank all of you again for making me feel so welcome in this thread. Having inhabited the LT TTC thread for so long, I'm finding that I feel a little in limbo and a little bit disoriented still, and am finding myself lurking more than posting. But it is exciting to be here, I just need to let it sink in for a while!

Sush - we understand how you feel, it still must seem so surreal for you. It is still such a thrill for ME to see you in here so can only imagine how you feel! Good Luck for the BT results.
Shell - Poo on the tumble, it must have scary for you. Hope you're feeling better.
Mel - Yay on the scan! Take care and get as much sleep as you can!
Sal - Arggh to Telstra, look forward to the 1st of Sep so we can have you on board properly again!
TamB & Tiff - Hope your both well!
Amy I am doing well as are the twins. Still waiting on my next scan though. WOW look at you flying by. Almost at 12 weeks, YAY
Amy, Thanks for asking.
We are all good here just having a few problems with antenatal care but otherwise, all is well, as far as I know.
Just waiting waiting waiting for the morph scan, just like Tam! Still another month to go for me!

Hi Girls!!
I am back from the coutry visit!! Tiled a 40m balcony for my sister and brother in law, and am completely stuffed. Probably not a good thing to be doing at 6+ m pregnant!! Good for the old pelvic exercises though!
Sush - YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!! CAN I SAY THE HUGEST CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU?? Seeing you here, finally, after all the trauma of TCCing is just the best. Well Done! Fingers crossed for a great beta/prog result today!!
Sal - only 5 or so days to go!! Cannot wait to see how your little one is going!
I am so glad that you are all finding out the sex of your littleis (sp??) - I think it is so exciting to know!!
I have to run away for a bit, but promise to be a round a little more from now on. I am feeling very deprived without BB!!
Take care,

Yay Gaby - So good to have you back! OMG at doing all that tiling! You truly are a woman of many talents!
Tiff & Tam - Glad to hear you're both well. I find it hard to believe (and a huge relief) that I am almost 12 weeks, the first trimester has gone slow and fast IYKWIM.
Talk later!
Awesome news Mel, so glad u were able to c apple for the first time & to know everythings going just fine. Shame about the lack of recording facilities though, you'd think all hospitals & u/s clinics would have these facilities by now.
Gees Amy, hard to believe your nearly 12wks already, feels like it's flown by to me, but can imagine it would've felt like forever for u.
Sushee, hope those P4 levels co-operate.
So Tiff, Tam & Jo, how ur not feelin too uncomfortable, having 2 in there.
Tiff, d'yu know if HunterIVF has recording facilities for u/s please, eg: DVD/CD/video? Only 2wks & 1 day til my first & I just can't wait & less than 1wk for Sal's next scan.
Wow Gabby, u just keep amazing me @ what u get up to being pg. I was telling my mum about u last wkend & she too mentioned she was doin alot when she was preg with my bro & then me. She was a nurse doing 12hr shifts, 7 on, 7 off & alternating from day to night shift. She said for example, she'd have to leave at 4am to get to work by 6am for a 6:30am start, then didn't get home until around 8:30am, then had to cook dinner & when she was pg with me, she also had to pick up my bro, change his nappy, feed him, bath him & put him to bed. Dad was an apprentice so was only earning $25/wk & she was earning $54/wk. She said there was no such thing as maternity leave back then, so had 2wks holidays after the births & then back to work again. Nan & Aunty used to take turns looking after us.
Yep, got some nice bruises now, none on my tum though, & feelin like ive been doin 100 pushups & situps daily, gees i really feel silly bout that spill, oh well I'll have to be more careful.
Shell - My Mum and Dad were on a farm when she was pg with me. So she was milking cows, feeding calves and pigs etc.. She said she used to take the food scraps out to the pigs, feed them, lean over the fence and throw up and then keep going!! They were milking cows twice a day too! AND she had my brother who was FULL ON to say the least when he was little!
Hmmm, mot sure that I have anything to complain about as I sit at a desk most of the time!!
Right there with u on that one Amy, I sit at a desk from 8am til 5pm... hehehe.
Hi girls, just a naughty quicky post from me (from home, so the internet bill is mounting!).
Mel, huge congrats on seeing Apple, what a relief for you.
Hi to all, Gab you certainly keep yourself very busy! I feel like such a blob in comparison (have been so slack and haven't been doing any exercise at all).
All I can say about the doppler is that is is the best thing since sliced bread! I hear blobby morning and night and am starting to notice the bulge in my tummy (it is a bit lop-sided, blobby is leaning over to my right side) but am not showing as such and haven't got into any mat gear yet. But am feeling so fat, can hardly get into my normal clothes, and the bra I bought a week and half ago is getting too small (grrrr). Oh I just cannot wait until Monday morning, I bet I don't even sleep properly Sunday night in anticipation! I still think I'm having a boy, I think having a heartbeat <150bpm is the old wives' tale indicator for a boy, so all signs pointing that way.
Sorry can't do more personals, am so frustrated with the internet issue (though must reluctantly admit my study patterns have become much more disciplined as a result of being mostly internet-less).
:grouphug:
Hello girls,
quick sneaky post from work outside of lunch hours (norty!)
HCG 2977
P4 1000 (still high-ish but Dr is very very happy with my results in general)
Wooooohooooo!
Another BT in a week for P4 and they will book me in for my scan then!

Great Sush, hey, we may end up with scans on the same day, especially since our due dates are very close... :-)
Fantastic results on your beta and progesterone Sush!! Well done - sounds like a sticky baby or ?two ????
Speak soon - am cooking dinner for guests.... so gotta run!
Mel - Yayyyyyy! Doesn't it feel wonderful to see a blob there on the screen! I'm so very glad that everything is going well.
Sush - Another yayyyyyyy for your results too! How many did you transfer again??
Shell - Hope you are feeling better today?
Amy, Tam, Gab, Tiff hope you are all well.
Oi cat came through his little operation all ok. He was not very pleased about it all, I must say, now all I have to stress about is the scan on Friday.
Jo,
so glad that Oi came through ok. He may be unhappy but that's a small price to pay. Good luck for your upcoming scan, not that you'll need it!
Shell, yeah, the clinic says it's normal for them to do weekly BTs until the scan, but the good news is that my Dr says he wants me to make that first OBGYN appt now, so that must be good. Hopefully my scan will around the same time as yours!
The nurse told me my numbers are right on track for s singleton, but they never know for sure until the scan, but yes, I had two transferred. I don't know about twins, as one of my blasts only had one pronucleus, and the embryologist rated it's chance of success as fairly low.
But of course, until the scan, nothing is certain. So being (happily) worried until then. I'm sure you all know how that feels!

Guys I am just so tickled pink to see you all in here and to hear that everything is going along so well for you all - cant wait to see piccies!!
Hey Everyone
Keen - You know there's a space in here with your name on it in big bold letters, hang in there sweet.
Sush - Yay on the BT results, not long till scan time!!
Jo - So glad to hear Oi is fine and with sparkling fangs!! Now only 2 sleeps to go!
Sal - Only 5 sleeps, are we taking bets on the sex?
I'm just sitting here at my desk not really interested in doing anything to be honest. Am craving McDonalds AGAIN! Had it for lunch yesterday and was so good. At least Bucky is wanting fruit but definitely not interested in veges or meat...hmmm.
Just realised I never mentioned the Bledisloe Cup results....hehe. Is anyone interested in rugby union? Can't say I watched the game, fell asleep in the first ten minutes.
Take care everyone.
Hey Amy,
Yep, I place my bet for a boy for Sal!!!
Good luck Sal, can't wait to hear what you are having!!!!
Amy,
LOL at the Maccas cravings!
I just can't get enough red capsicum!
Don't eat too much of that wicked stuff!
Keen,
I've bought you a September/Oct ticket on the bus, so you should know that we're keeping your place here warm for your arrival soon.
And just to be ornery, I say a girl for Sal! Lol!
No cravings for me, but the spag bol my DD cooked yesterday made me want to hurl, even though it's something I usually love. Yay! Morning sickness! But in the evening! As awful as I felt, I loved the nausea, it's making it more real for me....
There are 4 TWWers in the LT thread so hopefully we'll have more graduates in here soon. Would be nice to not be the one who is due last! heehee!
Hope everyone else is well!

sushee
I hope I am one thanks Sushee - for thinking of us - it is going to be crowded in here soon
Sal - I am going for a boy
Trish,
I hope you are one of the BFPs with all my heart!
thanks Tiff
*I do believe in miracles and dreams do come true *
and there are so many miracle stories here how can we not be inspired
Trish there are hundreds of seats left, the forum will never be full... I hope u all get your miracle bubbies this month... :-)
That's my mantra Shell -thanks :flower:
your ticker is moving along
Yes, have to say there's good feeling in the air for the TWWers in LTTTC.
Yes Tiff I need to stay away from evil Maccers! It has repeated on me all afternoon so not worth it!
Amy,
Step away from the Maccas! That's another smell that makes me ill (which I found out at lunch today), the smell of french fries.
Trish, you are postive and you are strong, and your miracle will come too. I cannot wait for your beta! 31st Aug seems soooo far away for me, can't imagine what it must be like for you! I hope and pray it's worth the wait. Like Amy, I've got a good feeling about the TWWers!

Oh my God, Sush ... I wish the smell of fries did make me ill. As it is, it is all I crave!
I'm normally a salad and vegies kind of girl but the thought of that stuff at the moment is anathema. I still get my veg at night and I've been on vitamins and eating the right foods for years so I'm not unduly worried. The only thing is, I'm taking Apple's predilection for fat and salt as a sign that he is taking after DH ... I'm gestating another chip-muncher!!
Amy - I love Maccas, don't often have it as the nearest is an hour away. Just as well really ;) We are a Union family. DH used to play in the UK for many a year (the reason his swimmers are all crap!)
Trish - Keep chanting your mantra! With so many people in the other thread now, surely those in the know must have to move some people along!
Sal - I forget you last night. I am very sorry. I should just stick to my usual "hope all is well" ;) Combination of pg hormones and old age hehe!
I hope EVERYONE is ok!
Hi girls, yet another quick BB session for me, sorry!
Oooh chips, I really felt like them for about three weeks, wanted the hot variety (with gravy) but couldn't readily access them so settled for salt and vinegar crisps as well...what was blobby thinking?!?! I hate crisps normally! Phew, am off them now, plus my predilection for a daily banana smoothie has eased.
Well, am very chuffed, firstly last night my DP said I was starting to show (that is, when I'm nude) so surely not much longer until some darling little old lady on the street asks me when I'm due?! The other thing is that I found out I got my tax return - makes a big diff to the local Sal economy and means I can have a bit of a blobby spending spree after the scan. Am going to treat DP to a new mobile phone, he'll be thrilled!
Sush, those BT numbers are great, wow on the P4! Can't wait for yours and Shell's first scans.
Jo, so happy about Oi, my mum's dog had to have a broken tooth removed on Tuesday and she really took the op quite hard too. Am very excited about your scan tomorrow! Will you posting piccies?
Hehe girls, Sush thanks for the 'girl' vote! I've got a 'boy' mindset but will be very happily surprised if it is a girl. DP told his only sister the names we have picked out, thankfully she like them. But we aren't telling anyone what they are (why do we become so precious about secrecy when it comes to baby names, I wonder?).
OK must run, hugs to all.
Trish, it's hard to type this message as my fingers (and toes) are still firmly crossed for your BFP. My preg-brain can't figure it out, would that make it an April or May bub?
Morning ladies,
can I ask for your expertise? Now I do know that I am a mother of 3 already, but seeing how my last pg was over 12 years ago, I feel like I'm a newbie at this.
Well, I don't know if it's the P4 or something else, but everthing I'm eating is pretty much going straight through me. I wake up every morning with bad stomache cramps and of course, my first reaction is that it's bubby, and I go through a moment of panic.
DH says that I've had a lot of *ahem* gas lately, and I do know that high levels of P4 causes bloating and gasiness, but I don't know if this is all related.
Has anyone had the same sort of symptoms? I guess I'm getting a little anxious now (the elation of my last BT is starting to wear off - Lol!), but I feel like a silly paranoid git calling the clinic about this.
love
sushee
Sush I know that in the books I have been reading that either the runs or constipation is quite common with all the hormone levels changing. I was pretty much constipated from day 1 and have been ever since. Metamucil is my new best friend. I still get bowel cramps and gas too, so it is not just you.
