    Hey guys

Even though I'm really early in all of this...we've told people (family and close friends). I know it's a risk, but we just thought given that the wait has been so long, we would share the joy for however long that joy lasts for...

I so hope that we don't kick ourselves later...

I think it's such a personal thing. I can totally understand people not telling...and I admire them for their amazing patience!!!

My problem is that I'm well known for being a wine lover...so any refusal of wine, regardless of any excuse I used ("I'm driving"..."I'm on antibiotics")...would have never cut it!!! And with silly season on us...it would have been impossibe to avoid!

We told our family in small groups....my parents...DH's mum...DH's siblings...my siblings...

The way we did it was tie a little baby's bib around our very cheeky dog's neck which said "guess who is going to be a big brother?" He's such a friendly little fella who is big into saying hello to everyone...so he would rush up to them with his bib on...

The reactions were amazing...especially DH's Mum...she initially thought "oh no...they're getting another puppy!!!"

My Dad has spent the last 3 days crying...he can't speak to me without crying...he ever cried on the train on the way home from work...he's a huge softie (as you can guess!)

So here's hoping this all sticks...I am feeling positive and are just trying to go with that for the moment...

That's great news Jane about your appointment...wonderful!

We're catching up with our FS specialist in a few weeks...still not sure whether we want him to be our ob...I'm so hoping for minimal medical intervention but I'm not sure how possible that is with a Ob...any ideas?
